Trump, Trudeau Agree to Close Border to Slow Coronavirus
Trudeau limited travel on Monday.
President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau agreed to shut down the border for non-essential travel to help slow the coronavirus.
We will be, by mutual consent, temporarily closing our Northern Border with Canada to non-essential traffic. Trade will not be affected. Details to follow!

Trump already stopped travel from other countries. Other leaders followed suit, including Trudeau:
Truck drivers and Canadian snowbirds, who live in the U.S. for part of the year and are returning to Canada, are among those expected to get an exemption. Completely closing the border would cause severe economic damage to both the U.S. and Canada as the two economies are integrated. Much of Canada’s food supply comes from or via the U.S., and and 98% of its oil exports go to the U.S.
About 18% of American exports go to Canada.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Monday he would close the country’s borders to anyone not a citizen, an American or a permanent resident, and even then they must self-isolate for 14 days on arrival.
Trudeau said the exemption for Americans, despite the rapid rise of cases in the U.S., was due to “the level of integration of our two economies.”

There needs to be a serious reckoning of HOW we deal with China in the future, once this mess is over. It CAN’T be business as usual. We need to pull loads of manufacturing back to the US. We need to decouple from China in a big way. And if I had my way, I’d send the B-52’s and B-1B’s over to take care of every damn one of their bio-research facilities.

Trudeau is lying about closing the border. There are 1500 “refugees” a day, most of whom originated in Central America, crossing from New York into Quebec and the Village Idiot has said he will not close the border crossing.
