REPORT: Klobuchar Will Drop Out of Presidential Race, Endorse Biden
NYT says Klobuchar will attend a rally with Biden on Monday night
Reports have emerged that Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) will end her presidential campaign on Monday.
A campaign aide said she will endorse Joe Biden.

Ms. Klobuchar will appear with Mr. Biden at his rally in Dallas Monday night. The decision comes one day after former Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Ind., departed the race, and after weeks of Democratic Party hand-wringing about a crowded field of moderate candidates splitting a finite field of centrist votes, allowing Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont to march forward unopposed among progressives and amass delegates.

Fox News has confirmed that Klobuchar plans to endorse Biden on Monday night in Texas, one of the 14 states holding contests on Super Tuesday. The Associated Press reported that Buttigieg also plans to endorse Biden at the same event in Dallas.
“The Klobuchar campaign confirms the senator is flying to Dallas to join Vice President Biden at his rally tonight where she will suspend her campaign and endorse the vice president,” said Carlie Waibel, the Klobuchar campaign press secretary.

…and I got yet another big postcard from the mayor in my mailbox today. Seems to me he’s open to an attack on environmentalist lines for using so many dead trees. Seriously, I’m not even a registered Democrat yet I’m getting a new one of these almost every day!

Dunno what to say about Seattle – can’t stand going over to that side of the sound any more. Used to love driving from So. King Co. in the early 70’s to bum around Seattle Center, the Zoo, spending an evening at Sea Tac riding the under ground trams – going to old Guitar Center in Seattle.
Had surgery at Swedish a couple summers ago and drove past some of the tent cities under the freeway. Pretty much freaked me out – had no idea it was that bad. All the farms along the Green River Valley gone – warehouses now. Really depressing – and surprised so many of my classmates are still there and don’t seem to mind the change. I guess it’s acute to me because I left when I graduated and spent some time around the country as a field rep for the Lazy B. You couldn’t pay me to move back to the Auburn-Kent area.
Hmm. I’ve been immediately tossing the ones I get into the recycling bin. Do you suppose they’ve been fishing them out and re-sending them to someone else?
I’m north of the city. Not quite as depressing as the south side, but getting worse. I’m retired, have no reason to stay, and should probably sell my house while prices are still high and move somewhere less woke.
If ever I had to live over there again, Edmonds is nice. I catch the ferry from Kingston periodically and enjoy that area – as long as I don’t get stuck in the mid afternoon rush to go home.

But it’s also possible that Amy figured that Sanders was going to thump her in her home state, so she ducked. Embarassing to lose your home state in a presidential primary. And look what losing his home state (allegedly Tennessee) did for Al Gore in the 2000 Presidential election. If he’d carried Tennessee, Florida would have been irrelevant. Say what you will about them “backwoods cracker deplorables” they can smell a fraud–and won’t vote for it.

When the story first came out, I thought that maybe Bloomberg had tossed a few million her way to get her to drop out. This might hurt him some, but he’s already promised to stay in if it costs him a cool billion.
Sanders is going to wind up with a FOURTH house (second waterfront, this one ocean: #malibu_beach_bernie). Biden would be a “president” like Mueller was a “special prosecutor”: Asleep at their desks while corrupt progressives run the show.
It could possibly be that if Bloomie does well today they could rethink their nominee. Saw Bloomie on Fox last night and he was wayyyyyy sharper than plugs could ever be.
The one thing every Dem candidate has in common is that they are all fakes. Not one of them can come across with anything genuine like the Trumpster does.
