Trump Fumes Over Impending Impeachment Vote: ‘I DID NOTHING WRONG!’

“Can you believe that I will be impeached today by the Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats, AND I DID NOTHING WRONG! A terrible Thing. Read the Transcripts. This should never happen to another President again. Say a PRAYER!”

President Donald Trump exploded on Twitter over the impending impeachment vote in the House later today.

He retweeted a bunch of tweets praising him and quotes from people on TV shows demeaning the vote.

my great fear is that if they can’t impeach, assassinate!

Morning Sunshine in reply to MarkS. | December 18, 2019 at 2:24 pm

This fear has occurred to me as well. I now pray daily for the physical safety of our president

I put nothing beneath the left these days. Recall the plays depicting Trump being killed, Kathy Grifter holding up Trump’s head as a “joke”, numerous articles talking up assassination… the left would celebrate should it ever happen.

Yes, the Communist/Progressive/Leftist/Globalist Uni-Party would celebrate – for about all of 2 seconds…..

These idiots have no idea how low they’re setting the bar for impeachment.

“Can you believe that I will be impeached today by the Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats”

Donald, I see it as a Badge of Honor. Wear it proudly.

“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago),
    Luke 1:68-70

Our karma will run over their dogma.

Hey! Where are MY quotes? Don’t make me play my “Don’t you know who I am?!?!?!” card.

Hey Mary, we’re all fuming. You sound surprised that an innocent man would defend himself…

Edward in reply to stl. | December 19, 2019 at 8:37 am

Mary is surprised because a Republican is defending himself and, in the (lengthy – since 2016) process, has unified the Party.

It’s harder to drain the swamp in a parliamentary system, since the swamp chooses the leader. The House is trying to serve as a parliament.

Trump isn’t fuming. Not in his character. It’s just a counternarrative to deal with.

He said he said he had his doubts about “Drain the Swamp” as a slogan, but that the people at his rallies really liked it, so he added it.

He extended an olive branch to Hillary and the Democrats, which they did not accept.

Now we get to watch “impeachment” explode in their clown faces.

Meanwhile, the presiding judge of the FISA court has written her own hot letter to the FBI, and it’s as much a doozy as the President’s letter. Both made front-page editorials in today’s San Diego Union-Tribune. The editorials are not worth reading. The originals are better.

The Chief Judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) kind of skipped over that the FBI/DoJ had a willing accomplice – the FISC Judges who approve nearly 100% of the applications without any sort of real questioning of the application. In great part this is the result of the same people being involved in the applications, the “easy familiarity” that this breeds and the human propensity for busy people to dispense with what they see as quick and easy jobs on a quick and easy basis.

US Magistrate Green of Waco (and Branch Davidian infamy) was bitten by this very thing. Judge Green approved an Application for Search Warrant where the accompanying Affidavit in Support at best made a case for Possible Cause but certainly not Probable Cause. He signed off on the Warrant based on his professionally knowing and trusting the ATF S/A making the application. After Waco he never approved a Search Warrant Application without extensive questioning of the basis for the request.

Trump did do something, it wasn’t wrong. He proved the left is the man behind the curtain, not something we need them.

Donny Two Scoops is ready to rumble.

I’m of the mind that the Senate Republicans should have a lengthy trial, bringing in various witnesses. that puts Joe Biden front and center, and forces Sanders and Warren to choose between the campaign trail and their Senate duty. The Democrats want to play this game, see how it feels with their three front runners tied up for months.

I guess I’m on the fence on this. On one hand, the Senate dispensing with this quickly makes some sense – why even entertain such lies? But a) that sets the table for the House to impeach repeatedly and b) it also smacks of the appearance of sweeping a bunch of deep state/Dem collusion stuff under the rug.

That said, it would be kind of fun to watch the Senate take the time to dismantle the Dems’ bullshit down to the molecular level and to listen to lefties and the media whine about it.

      oldgoat36 in reply to UJ. | December 18, 2019 at 3:27 pm

The left has already stated that this will continue under their fascist like rule from the House. By dragging it out the Senate might stop further efforts through the spring and summer.
I do think the Left will lose the House and have no chance at the Senate because of this. If the trial brings up things that hurt the left even more than this sham has done, so much the better.

        notamemberofanyorganizedpolicital in reply to oldgoat36. | December 18, 2019 at 3:57 pm

It’s going to bring up things much, much, much worse.

Just wait till all the general public knows about Pelosi’s children’s involvement and how illegal Obama is the Coup plotter – even if he’s kept on a short rope by George Sorass……

I’d like to see him veto the spending bill and tell the Dems “if you thought I’d sign off on that pig of a bill because of your sham impeachment, think again. VETOED!” Let the gov’t shut down if necessary. Let them choose between a decent / clean bill and impeachment. At the same time, let the Senate dispose of impeachment articles quickly, no games. Then let them take up hearings on the IG report and soon Durham report. It’s time to be subpoenaing the Dem traitors to public hearings and expose their corruption – which hopefully will show the public why they tried to impeach Trump.

I like McConnell’s thinking on impeachment – the Senate is a jury that only weighs the articles and evidence as found by the House. Don’t open the trial to a circus like they made the Kavanaugh hearing. When impeachment fails (which I trust it will) it sends a message back to the house for them NOT to send such frivolity to the Senate again – come up with an airtight, fact based case and with specific findings of wrongdoing with 1st hand witnesses.

    Hear, hear!!! I agree 100%

notamemberofanyorganizedpolicital in reply to MrE. | December 18, 2019 at 3:59 pm

    Spot On!

The general public already knows it is
    Pelosi’s Democrat Party Do-Nothing Congress,
    and it will be
Pelosi’s Democrat Party Govenment Shut Down too.

Edward in reply to MrE. | December 19, 2019 at 9:08 am

I would only disagree with the issue of a Durham Report and subsequent Congressional (i.e. Senate) Hearings.

I don’t care if Durham sends a report to Congress as long as he obtains a number of criminal indictments of those involved in this attempt to overthrow the elected President. And not only the “foot soldiers”, but as far up the Chain of Command as he can go with good, solid evidence. Leave His Imperial Executiveness, Emperor Barak the Nonpareil to the report (on the assumption that lots of Socialist-Democrats will fall on the proverbial sword before giving evidence sufficient to convict ODumbo.
