University of Minnesota in Uproar Over Improper Usage of Pronouns
“sanctions are on the table for conscientious objectors”
A new policy at the school addresses the past failings of people at the school to use the correct words. This reads like parody.

University of Minnesota threatens faculty for ‘repeated misuse of pronouns’ in new policy
Gender pronouns have flummoxed the University of Minnesota for more than a year.
A draft policy released in summer 2018 stated that “university members and units are expected to use the names, gender identities and pronouns specified to them by university members, except as legally required.” The Star Tribune said failure to comply could get a person punished, “up to firing or expulsion.”
Sanctions were removed from the proposal early this year, following massive negative feedback, and faculty approved the relaxed language.
The taxpayer-funded university is now on the cusp of approving the “Gender Identity, Gender Expression, Names and Pronouns” policy, and the language is … the same.
More worrisome for those who care about academic freedom and the First Amendment, the FAQ document for the policy makes clear that sanctions are on the table for conscientious objectors to the new regime.

It is bad when the book of Pronouns gets bigger than the book of Proverbs. But that explains the problem.
Pronouns are about feelings, and anyone who isn’t foolish stupid, or crazy isn’t bothered. Proverbs is about wisdom, something sorely lacking.
The problem is less #LearnToCode, but #LearnToThink, at least clearly.
The main campus is in Minneapolis so think Mayor Frey and Rep. Omar. The city has devolved into an intolerant leftist sewer where you do as the rulers say or be sent to a reeducation camp. Stasi is the model.
Penalties for pronoun use? When I was in school, there were rules of grammar, no mention of laws of grammar.
The Left has been in charge of public school education for a couple of generations. We shouldn’t be surprised.
This has to stop. We need much stronger, clear headed citizens, not a bunch of idiots who can’t even tell what they are.
Time for people there to start making up their own completely ridiculous pronouns and start filing complaints about everyone that does not use them. Break their stupid system.
