Unfortunately, the media’s Josef Goebbels imitation will probably work, at least to some extent. Creating “the worst economy since the Great Depression” out of thin air is a standard exercise and tribute to their considerable skills as propagandists.

I’ve deliberately buying more from local businesses and “mom and pop” online stores every time the wannabe World Dictator Globalists try that crap!
They did the same thing before Obama’s election. And I vaguely remember talks of looming recession just before Clinton was elected to his first term. But when a Dem is in office, they try to avoid the topic.
