Last week, two border patrol agents were speaking to a small group of students at the University of Arizona when the event was interrupted by a student calling them the KKK and “murder patrol.” She was eventually joined by other students, and now they’re facing charges.

ArizonaEarly last week a pair of Border Patrol employees speaking to a campus club at the University of Arizona faced an impromptu demonstration led, naturally, by a “studies” major.Mexican-American studies major “Denisse” saw the BP personnel addressing the Criminal Justice Organization and began questioning their presence, interrupting their talk. She was miffed at a story of a family that had been detained by the BP just four miles from campus.It appears Denisse had taken video of her confronting not just the Border Patrol agents, but disrupting the Criminal Justice Organization discussion to make her displeasure known. In the first clip, she refers to the BP as the “Murder Patrol” and complains the university permits “murderers” on campus, a place for which she’s paid to study at…A second video shows Denisse following behind the now-departing agents shouting “Murder Patrol! Murder Patrol!” where she’s eventually joined by others. At the end of the segment, a crowd of protesters are shown shouting “Police! And ICE! The same shit twice!”
You can watch both videos below, strong language warning for both. The stupidity on display here is so outrageous.
The school says it remains committed to free speech but not disruption, and that’s why there will be charges.

2 UA students will face charges for incident with Border Patrol AgentsThe University of Arizona Police Department will be charging two students with interference with the peaceful conduct of an educational institution, after an incident with U.S. Border Patrol Agents on campus.In a letter sent to The University of Arizona campus community on March 29, President Robert C. Robbins said the UA Police Department will continue to investigate this incident for additional criminal violations. The Dean of Students is also reviewing potential violations of the student code of conduct and there will also be a probe into actions involving UA employees, according to Robbins.As News 4 Tucson previously reported, the confrontation that sparked the UAPD investigation happened on March 20 at a career fair at the University of Arizona. In one video posted to social media, one student is heard shouting, “murder patrol” while agents are talking to a group of criminal justice students. Another video shows the student following the agents out of the classroom and to their car.
