Trump Plans to ‘Slam and Shame the Media’ Over Mueller Report Findings

I wonder how much CNN’s Jim Acosta hurt when he tweeted out that an adviser to President Donald Trump said that the media can expect him to “slam and shame the media” over Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report.

The adviser also said that the findings are “like Geraldo Rivera and Al Capone’s vault all over again.”

Thing is, some in the media and Democrats cannot accept the fact that Mueller found no collusion between Trump and Russia or obstruction of Justice.

Axios reported that the Mueller report matters because most of the people in the country will agree with Trump and Trump will likely “use it to cast doubt on investigations by House Democrats, or by other state and federal officials.” A USA Today/Suffolk poll from March 18 showed that 50% of Americans agreed with Trump that Trump was a victim of a witch hunt.

Trump’s Responses

As much as Trump loves to criticize the media, something makes me think that he may not go all in on a media-bashing storm.

Trump tweeted three times on Sunday:

The media confronted Trump on the report before he boarded Air Force One in Florida and after he landed in Washington, DC. Both incidents came off as very un-Trump like.

As of 8:02AM, Trump has only retweeted those tweets and added a few more:

Democrats, Media Will Not Give Up

However, if the Democrats and media don’t stop their insane behavior, I hope Trump lashes out at them. Despite Mueller’s findings, some in the media and Democrats have tried to spin it in their favor. They come out looking desperate and crazy.

Adam Schiff, who claimed that he had direct evidence that proved collusion, tweeted that nothing should be believed without the full report. Notice how he only mentioned Attorney General Bill Barr. No mention of how Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who has no love for Trump, also came to the same conclusions.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer somehow believe that the summary raised more questions than answers. Um, really?

Others stretched the truth as well:

Unlikely Voice of Reason

AL SHARPTON. Al Sharpton emerged as the unlikely voice of reason for the left. He agreed Mueller’s report is a victory for Trump and encouraged Democrats to move on to actual policies:
