Robert Mueller just submitted his final report, wrapping up a two-year-long investigation into alleged collusion between Trump associates and Russian officials and Democrats are already vowing to “find the truth.”
Rep. Schiff, who has made a name for himself peddling speculation about the investigation is on the case!

BLITZER: “What are the outstanding questions that your committee, the House Intelligence Committee, for example, will continue to investigate regardless of what the Mueller report reveals?”
SCHIFF: “There are any number of examples that I could give you of information that we’ve obtained in our investigation, information that’s become clear from the Special Counsel investigation that may not be neatly summed up in a decision or disclosure that we decided to indict A but not B. And to give you an illustration, we know that Paul Manafort was providing polling data to someone linked to Russian intelligence, and that may not have shown up in an indictment. But nonetheless, it raises profound questions about why the presidential campaign of Donald Trump was providing polling data, apparently detailed polling data, to someone linked to Russian intelligence. That’s just one of the great many unanswered questions. And if they’re not answered, then we are going to have to answer them. We’re going to have to find the truth. I would say this in terms of the Administration, which at least professes a desire for Congress to work expeditiously on its investigations. The degree to which they are transparent and provide this information from the Justice Department will greatly facilitate our ability to work swiftly. We have to completely reinvent the wheel, it will obviously be far more time-consuming and difficult.”

After Comeys report came out I wondered if the FBI would be able to find a prosecutor willing to prosecute. Did anyone look? I guess not. Too busy trying to overturn the election.

Yes, Schiff-for-brains, it would not have figured in an indictment. Engaging in perfectly legal activity must never end in an indictment. But in the Schiff-for-brain’s rabid hateful world it would always result in an indictment.
I wish I was on that set. I would have responded to a question from the interviewer, then stopped mid-sentence and turned to Schiff-for-brains and asked, “Are you wearing a new cologne. You’re wearing a lot, and I think I recognize it.”

My first thought as well! Now this isn’t to defend Manafort, he’s a sleazy guy, did a lot of sleazy things. But that bit that Schiff is seizing on *isn’t a crime*!!!! It’s like all the dems fantasizing about Carter Page, who they used as a pretext for all of this investigating, and wondering when he would be indicted. Anybody can do 5 minutes worth of research, read through the details of everything he was doing (he himself has given extensive and open interviews) and you quickly realize that *nothing* he has ever been accused of doing was actually a crime. “He talked to Russians!” Yeah, most people who travel to Russia end up doing that. “He went to Russia!” Yeah, that was years ago, and we’re not at war – you can actually fly there direct, a lot of people do every day. And on and on and on…

There is much wisdom in your comment. I can concede all day long that Manafort is a sleaze ball and it doesn’t effect my contention that Trump’s policies are good. It doesn’t follow that everything that Manafort did was sleazy. Apparently he paid his utility bills. Is paying your utility bills sleazy, because Manafort did that? Moreover, Meuller and his team of mercenary prosecutors are up to their armpits in the same sleaze as Manafort. Why aren’t they and Hillary going to prison along with Manafort.

Schiff will be demanding lots of shade and dark clouds rather than sunlight as soon as he realizes Trump no longer has an investigation to obstruct, so he can declassify all kinds of inconvenient documents at his whim.

This is the technique that I believe is behind the investigations led by Jerrold Nadler, Elijah Cummings, and Adam Schiff. If they examine every detail of the lives of Trump and all his supporters, they will find something to use against them.
At the very least, they can make life so miserable for all of Trump’s supporters that they will abandon him to the Gulag. I believe that is the major purpose for the never-ending list of subpoenas.
The Democrats have used politically motivated investigations against their opponents in the past. A perfect example is the John Doe warrants, subpoenas, and investigations in Wisconsin. These actions were taken to harass the supporters of Wisconsin governor Scott Walker. The Democrats’ current actions against Trump supporters are clearly meant to intimidate those supporters and destroy Trump’s base.

This criminalization of political activity is also a warning to anyone outside of the uniparty who would dare run for office in the future. The Mueller investigation was biased and unfair. Mueller is a Republican. A new investigation of Trump is desperately needed.

There have been two separate Get Trump investigations running for the last two years. One was the Mueller Mess, which was the public investigation and the other has been running in the SDNY office of Justice. The second is the stealth investigation.
Look, the Dems know that there was no Trump/Russia collusion, because they used the Fusion GPS generated Steele Dossier to gain their FISA warrants and they knew the dossier was totally bogus. So, Mueller was simply the diversion. It was designed to protect members of the Obama Administration who might be in legal jeopardy. The real Get Trump investigation has been going on in the SDNY. And, the SDNY is up to their eyeballs in the Get Trump operation.
Now, the Mueller operation is in serious danger of blowing up as more information comes out about the ties that its members have to the pre-election/inauguration actions against Trump. So, it is quietly folding its tent and getting out of Dodge, before its members end up in legal trouble. Now, the public face of the operation will be taken up by the House Democrats. The serious investigative operation will be done by the SDNY and the House Dems will funnel information to it, just as the Mueller investigation did.
But, the DOJ/Democrat Protection Society is still alive and well in the DOJ. There will be NO criminal indictments against high ranking DOJ officials or Dem politicans. What indictments which will be lodged against lower ranking members will either simply lie dormant for years and then disappear or will result in guilty pleas, probably for probation, for minor criminal violations. All the Clinton investigations will never see the light of day. Uranium One has been forgotten, or ignored, by everyone except Sean Hannity. Unmasking, illegal leaks, illegal access to NSA intercepts and a slew of other Obama era criminal actions are being studiously ignored, by virtually everyone, and they will continue to be ignored. Everyone in DC is up to their butts, or higher, in illegal activities and they can not afford to have investigations into ANYONE, with longtime connections to DC, being conducted. So, to cover their butts, the Democrat House will launch their own Trump investigative circus, as a distraction, and also to attempt to undermine the Trump agenda.
President Trump is the Democrat’s Moby Dick, and they will do anything to destroy him.
