Lindsey Graham on Border Wall: “We’re not going to give in to this radical left, ever”

Sunday, Sen. Lindsey Graham joined Face the Nation where he minced no words about the border wall funding standoff.
“The president will compromise, but he will not capitulate,” Graham said.
When he was asked about re-opening the government for the benefit of the federal workers currently working unpaid, Graham said, “Why would you negotiate with somebody who calls you a racist if you want a wall, who gives you a dollar for a wall, when the Democratic Party supported $25 billion in the past? We’re not going to negotiate with people who see the world this way.”
He continued, “We’ll negotiate with Dick Durban, but I’m not gonna negotiate with someone who calls the border patrol agents a bunch of Nazis when they’re trying to defend the border against a mob.”
“These caravans have changed everything. The reason you need $5 billion now and not $1.6 is the border is deteriorating in terms of security,” said Graham.
It seems both parties have decided this is THE hill to die on. Trump knows he has to have a wall to win re-election and the Democrats know he wins if they give it to him.
As Sen. Graham concluded, “I do want open the government, but the goal is not to open the government. The goal is to fix a broken immigration system.”

Does the government have any plans for when Ebola starts to show up on both sides of the border? How are they going to corral all of the invaders who may have contracted the disease on the trip to the border?

In certain quarters, there has been talk about some sort of “redemption arc” for Sen. Graham. That’s a quaint notion to me, because this sounds just like him in committee during the Obama administration.

Immigration isn’t the problem, and the system isn’t broken. It’s clumsy, inefficient, expensive, and poorly thought out, but no more so than any other government program. Foreign invasion, a major crime wave, human trafficking, and disease vectors are the problems.
Graham has allowed the Leftoids to frame the problem and pretend that defense of the country is somehow anti-immigrant. Major fail there.
What these shutdowns prove beyond reasonable doubt, is that government is indeed way too big, that we can get rid of a big, big chunk of it.
Its not even that as the shut down only impacts a very VERY small minority of Government workers. The vast majority of the Government (80-90%) is still funded and working away as diligently as ever at being ineffectual and inefficient.
Like all of us normals with a JOB, I’ve been busy. But at this critical juncture, NOW is the time to be calling Congress- every day, but every office, HOUND these people mercilessly – President Trump needs the help. Have compassion for President Trump, and CALL- CALL- CALL!

Mexico is making a killing from their illegals sending 70 billion plus dollars a year to their families who are still in Mexico.
