Prof Warns Trump Supporters Will Riot When He Leaves Office
“will not accept as legitimate any means through which he departs”
She says this will happen even if Trump serves two full terms. How many times will the left have rioted by then?

Prof predicts Trump voters will riot when Trump leaves office
A women’s studies professor at the University of Albany recently published a lengthy essay warning that Trump voters will likely riot when he departs from the Oval Office.
“How Do We Solve a Problem Like the Donald? The Democratic Challenge of Trump Voters and the Politics of Presidential Removal” was published in the recent issue of the journal New Political Science by Julie Novkov.
Novkov, who also teaches political science, highlights the potential for Trump to be removed by impeachment, resignation, or assassination—but what she is most concerned about is how Trump voters would react to such an outcome.
The Trump coalition is bound together by “white racial resentment, anxiety and anger about immigration, some rural consciousness, and commitment to conservative Christian values,” Novkov claims, asserting that Trump voters are also easily misled.
“Distrustful and cynical, they are ready to embrace any simple system that makes sense of their world and validates their resentments,” she writes, adding that such people are “particularly inclined to embrace propaganda.”
Because of this, Novkov anticipates that Trump voters will resist the prospect of his removal from office, perhaps even with violence.
“I believe that Trumpers—the core supporters Trump has bound to himself through his consistent and persistent messaging—will not accept as legitimate any means through which he departs from the presidency,” Novkov writes, clarifying that she believes this will be so even if Trump completes two full terms in office.

Hopefully someone is keep a collection of all these apocalyptic prognostications, to be published in a monumental rebuke.
Wouldn’t have any more effect than pointing out all the errors in prediction Ehrlich included in the Population Bomb, or the failures of the more recent prognostications of islands disappearing and other horrific events resulting from “global warming”. The only mistake the Left ever admits to is failing to throw enough OP money at whatever their current failure might be.
She must also be a Professor of Projection Studies.
She’s a Professor of Political Science. Because she has her finger on the pulse of America! It takes someone with her subtle understanding of Trump supporters to make sense of our “white racial resentment, anxiety and anger …”. This political scientists never really realized that other Americans do not share her vision of America, politics, or the duties of citizenship. Gee, she missed the whole Reagan phenom, as well as growing resentments during the Obama admin, as Obama and his henchmen successfully branded all Republicans as racists. She’s going to be very embarrassed some day, when asked how she could have been so obtuse.
Sounds a lot like 0bama supporters, actually.
She’s not completely wrong; Trump ran pretty much the same hopenchange campaign that 0bama did so succesfully, and yes, he does have a significant number of small-minded fanatical and unprincipled supporters, just like the Won. But riots? Maybe a little, but nothing like the extended riot we’ve been experiencing for the last 21 months.
Similarity in attempts to keep campaign promises also. Trump has been trying to keep a number of his campaign promises, more than many politicians (if politicians are confronted with a campaign promise the quizzical look is “When did I say that?”). His Imperial Executiveness promised to fundamentally transform the country and he sure gave it a damned good try. We’ll live with the fallout for longer than I expect to be alive (70s now).
I was hoping to get a new TV in the near future, but if she says that I’m not allowed to riot and loot until the Donald leaves office, then I guess that I’ll just have to live with the smallish 1080 for now. By then 8K should be standard, but to be honest, at 4K the emotional scars are already too visible.
