Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Pushes Theory That Sirhan Sirhan Wasn’t His Father’s Assassin

Over the years, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has pushed wild theories about vaccinations, climate change and other topics. Now he is wading into the historic account of his father’s murder by suggesting Sirhan Sirhan wasn’t the shooter.

Tom Jackman writes at the Washington Post:

Who killed Bobby Kennedy? His son RFK Jr. doesn’t believe it was Sirhan Sirhan.

Just before Christmas, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pulled up to the massive Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility, a California state prison complex in the desert outside San Diego that holds nearly 4,000 inmates. Kennedy was there to visit Sirhan B. Sirhan, the man convicted of killing his father, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, nearly 50 years ago.

While his wife, the actress Cheryl Hines, waited in the car, Kennedy met with Sirhan for three hours, he revealed to The Washington Post last week. It was the culmination of months of research by Kennedy into the assassination, including speaking with witnesses and reading the autopsy and police reports.

“I got to a place where I had to see Sirhan,” Kennedy said. He would not discuss the specifics of their conversation. But when it was over, Kennedy had joined those who believe there was a second gunman, and that it was not Sirhan who killed his father.

“I went there because I was curious and disturbed by what I had seen in the evidence,” said Kennedy, an environmental lawyer and the third oldest of his father’s 11 children. “I was disturbed that the wrong person might have been convicted of killing my father. My father was the chief law enforcement officer in this country. I think it would have disturbed him if somebody was put in jail for a crime they didn’t commit.”

Sirhan admitted killing Kennedy during his trial.

A jury convicted Sirhan of first-degree murder and sentenced him to death in 1969, which was commuted to a life term in 1972.

In this 2011 interview of Sirhan from CNN, he claims he does not remember committing the crime:

Bob Brigham of Raw Story writes that RFK Jr. wants a new investigation:

RFK Jr. doesn’t believe the ‘official story’ that Sirhan Sirhan shot his father alone — and wants a new investigation

Kennedy, an attorney like his father, dismissed Sirhan’s trial as “really a penalty hearing.”

“It wasn’t a real trial. At a full trial, they would have litigated his guilt or innocence,” he explained. “I think it’s unfortunate that the case never went to a full trial because that would have compelled the press and prosecutors to focus on the glaring discrepancies in the narrative that Sirhan fired the shots that killed my father.”

Kennedy has now joined calls for a re-investigation lead by Paul Schrade, the former western regional director of the United Auto Workers, who was also shot in the head at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles.

Gads. Anything for a bit of publicity as the royal family fades from the American mind.

I wonder if Kenneduh’s tin foil hat set off the metal detector at the prison. Siran was definitely the more lucid of the 2.

I think of how nasty and how much of a grudge-bearer Bawbee was, and I think Sirhan did us a favor.

So all the witnesses just didn’t see it. Kennedy probably has something else going on. It’s not like the family is known for their stability.

Next up: ted didn’t kill Mary..

Did he discuss it with Rosey Greer?

You beat me to it. Like the assassination of Garfield, the assassination of Robert Kennedy was in front of a large crowd. PLENTY of witnesses!

Time to rename the Mass Pike Shirhan Highway on the eastbound side and Lee Harvey highway on he west bound lanes.

It is a wonderment as to how Sirhan could have shot the feral Kennedy behind the ear, given their physical positions. We take our blessings as we find them. May the Kennedy name be expunged from western civilization.

The real story here is he left his wife in a car for three hours? Huh?

I’m sure Sirhan told him he was innocent, that he only admitted to doing it because he wanted to be famous. Or something. Who wouldn’t believe him?

Of course he didn’t kill him!

As EVERY Democrat has ALWAYS known, Trump killed him! It’s ‘common sense knowledge!’

I once met Junior Kennedy at a party at Russell Simmons’ house. Not knowing who he actually was, I sized him up as a whiny beta-male, and not very bright. When I found out he was ‘Junior,’ I was stunned.

That said, and the Swamp being what it is, nothing would be surprising, given the over-the-top cover-up of JFK’s assassination. (Think the likes of comey, mueller, and john Brennan.)

Nonetheless, Junior is a putz.

Hey Sirhan Sirhan… Whatever will be will be….

This guy is a Kennedy, did anyone check if he was sober?

I am astounded that members of the Kennedy family, as well as that of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., would publicly state that the person found guilty in the murder of their kin was innocent. Sirhan Sirhan and James Earl Ray were innocent. Who knew?

It’s almost like the family members are willing to get their 15 minutes of fame by climbing onto the backs of their murdered patriarchs.

Hang on, there’s a huge disconnect here. Maybe Jr’s right that there was a second shooter, and the fatal shot came from that person. So what, though? How would that make Sirhan innocent?

I have no doubts Sirhan was the shooter, but there may have been a backup. I also have no doubt this was an assassination organized by the Deep State/Cabal, as was the assassination lf JFK and the attempted assassinations of Ford and Reagan. Whether the Deep State/Cabal moves on Trump remains to be seen. I were Trump, I would keep my family out of the country on permanent tour.

I have always thought that MLK’s murder was organized by the civil rights leaders he had pushed aside.
