College Students in Canada Smash Windows at Jordan Peterson Speech: ‘Burn it Down!’

Jordan Peterson is a writer and psychology professor at the University of Toronto who has become a target of the left for challenging political correctness and refusing to bow to the left. For this sin, campus activists have branded him a white supremacist and worse. He recently gave a talk at Queen’s University in Canada on the topic of a new book and student protesters outside the venue chanted “f**k white supremacy.” At least one student called for burning down the venue.Brian Lilley of Truth Revolt reported:

Jordan Peterson Speech Met With Broken Widows, Calls to ‘Burn it Down’Professor Peterson, a University of Toronto psychology professor, was speaking in support of his bestselling book, 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos. Despite speaking at one of Canada’s more established and distinguished universities, far-left protestors once again decided that he should not be allowed to express his viewpoints.Early in his talk a person can be seen in the video above banging on a stained glass window in what in known as Grant Hall, the lecture hall in which Peterson was speaking. Eventually the window broke and, according to the Kingston Whig Standard, the woman who was behind the vandalism cut herself and fled:

The woman cut her hand, but fled the scene. She was stopped by officers dressed in plain clothing at University Avenue and Stuart Street. When the officers identified themselves the woman started to yell and resisted arrest by trying to pull away, police said. Once handcuffed the woman became violent and started kicking one officer.

This was the scene outside the building, where students tried to barricade the doors with trash containers. Strong language warning:

Psychologist stares down left-wing ‘Lock em in and burn it down!’ Queen’s U. protestClinical psychologist and professor Jordan B. Peterson’s critics catapulted him into the news again this week with Queen’s University protests and the ominous threat, “Lock em in and burn it down.”The Amazon bestselling author of “12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos” has a chapter titled “Assume That The Person You Are Listening To Might Know Something You Don’t.” Canadian students decided on Monday night that it might be preferable to assault or kill their guest speaker — and his audience — instead…“Barbarians at the gate, Queen’s U today: reminiscent of the destruction of the stained glass on Pleasure Island in Pinocchio,” the author tweeted Monday.

This was the scene inside the venue. A student can be seen outside, breaking in a stained glass window:
