Massachusetts. Hardly unexpected.
Michael Dukakis won the state in 1988. One of the few. Mass citizenry has the unenviable tendency to keep jumping off of bridges if they see some other folks doing so, and its obviously hard to see, from their geographical position, past New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey…
“There’s no place in New York State for anyone who respects the Constitution, supports the Second Amendment, or is pro life.” Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY)
There’s enough fake news…and bad Deemocrat quotes…out there without adding to it…
[New York Republicans] are searching to define their soul, that’s what’s going on. Is the Republican party in this state a moderate party or is it an extreme conservative party?… The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE Act — it was voted for by moderate Republicans who run the Senate! Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are. If they’re moderate Republicans like in the Senate right now, who control the Senate — moderate Republicans have a place in their state. George Pataki was governor of this state as a moderate Republican, but not what you’re hearing from them on the far right.

Fake? Bad? It was this quote which put the state Republican Senatorial candidates back in Albany with the number and means to at least hold a seat at the table and avoid becoming a duplicate of Democrat controlled California and have no voice. It was in part of this statement which propelled Up State NY voters in district elections to vote Republican; Those who are not and will never become one of his lackey NYC Burrows or State subsidised Up State cities. Cuomo is currently ignoring all but those democrats who are tying the string of their balloon to his hot air for his 2020 assention.
Massachusetts elects Republican governors more often than Democratic. Usually when corruption gets too blatant we’ll elect a short string of Republicans, then when things get too boring we lapse back to electing Democrats.
Of course California also elects Republican governors now and then … but it hasn’t done much good.
Hillary does have two big accomplishments that leftists can love:
1) Hillary claims the the “Most corrupt candidate for POTUS” award — at least for the past century.
2) Hillary claims the “Most vicious war on women” award for the Bimbo Eruption attack team to enable a true sexual predator.
Perhaps these awards can earn a professorship at Columbia U.
Comments
Hillary continues to be the voice for wine swilling middle aged women.
…with cats. Lots of cats.
….and unkempt, unruly grey hair like a hay stack in too too short mini-skirts that would embarrass even their great grand daughters to wear.
I can’t remember who first said it: “There are none so blind as those who will not see.”
“Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not.”
Jeremiah 5:21

WOW. The truth gets down=thumbed. Again. Do any of you ever think about what you’re doing?
I love this comment.

Two things wrong with that “quote”…
1. It wasn’ a quote at all. I posted the actual quote.
2. As you’ll note in the real quote, Gov. Cooo-mo was talking about the GOP majority legislature (the Senate).
The truth was what worked. NOT a distortion of the truth.

How appropriate…it’s crooked!

Your blog title was pretty witty too, Prof!

Actually, I appreciate those who keep those stickers on. It makes IFF simpler.
