Comey Accepts Lecture Post at Howard University

Former FBI Director James Comey has accepted a lecture post at Howard University, where he will also deliver the school’s keynote speech to incoming students. From The Washington Post:

Comey, whom President Trump fired in May, will welcome the incoming class of 2021 at the convocation on Sept. 22. He has also been named to a lecturer position known as the Gwendolyn S. and Colbert I. King Endowed Chair in Public Policy. In that role, he will lead and conduct five lectures on topics that have not yet been announced.“I am pleased to welcome Mr. Comey to Howard,” Wayne A.I. Frederick, the president of the university, said in a statement. “His expertise and understanding of the challenges we continue to face today will go a long way in sparking rich discussion and advancing meaningful debates across campus.”Howard is a prominent historically black university in Northwest Washington.Comey said he was “honored” to hold the King Chair, which is named for Washington Post columnist Colbert King and his wife.
