I’ve said for the longest time that Tom Ricketts, the owner of my beloved World Series Champions Chicago Cubs, and Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) are identical twins. Here’s proof:
Great to host Tom Ricketts. Congrats on the World Series. (Should have been the @Astros!) pic.twitter.com/M5FTY59MeJ

The Cubs are in DC for a series against the Washington Nationals and the team decided to take the World Series trophy around Capitol Hill. They will visit with President Donald Trump at the White House as well. From Bleacher Report:
“I think the president just knew that we all were going to be here going to baseball games and thought it would be fun to come up and have an unofficial visit with the team,” Cubs co-owner Todd Ricketts told Lynn Sweet and Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun Times about the team’s second trip.
When Trump won the primary, the Ricketts family donated $1 million to a Trump PAC.
Trump wanted to appoint Todd Ricketts, Tom’s brother, as Deputy Commerce Secretary, but he had “to withdraw his nomination in April, unable to untangle his complex finances.”
As for Cruz’s comment about the Astros…..that may happen this year.

OK, there is more than a passing resemblance, but every good Texan knows that Ted is on the left.
LOL!! Astros? Did crazy Sheila Jackson Lee predict that?
I believe they were referring to their physical positions in the picture!
