Earlier this morning, President Donald Trump tweeted out a video of numerous Democrats who previously expressed opinions that now former FBI Director James Comey should step down or be fired from his post. He did this because so many Democrats have now criticized Trump for firing Comey.

He has a point. Give the Democrats exactly what they want — Comey not just fired but humiliated — and they’ll hate you for THAT. So why ever deal with them at all?
I suppose it’s too much to hope that McConnell and Ryan will learn the lesson.
