“Democratic Socialism” is a semantic attempt to rebrand plane ol’ socialism and you can thank former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders for that. He ran around calling himself a Democratic Socialist, causing problems for Democratic party spokespeople who repeatedly, were unable to offer a distinction between the two terms — because there is none.

Everyone who says there is distinction doesn’t actually define it, they just yell you have to go to school and get “educated” about it.
It’s like they don’t even know, but you will get reeducated.
