Hewitt Zings Joy Reid on Hillary ‘Fleeing State Department’ on Night of Benghazi

You know that feeling when during an interview or a debate your guy is hit with a question, and you sit there just praying that he will give a certain answer? Wish fulfilled for this Insurrectionist during Joy Reid’s MSNBC show today.

Reid asked conservative pundit Hugh Hewitt whether he doesn’t “worry” about how a President Donald Trump would make a life-or-death decision given his “comportment and demeanor.” Shot back the nimble Hewitt: “No. I am much more worried about Secretary Clinton fleeing the State Department at 1:00 A.M in the morning on the night of Benghazi.” Zing!

Hewitt went on to make the case against Hillary based on her Nixonian approach to politics, the thousands of people she would bring into government with her, and the people she’d appoint to the Supreme Court.

Concluded Hewitt: “it’s not even close for me, Joy and Rob [Reiner]. I’m voting for Trump because a Hillary Clinton court and administration is hard left forever for the country.” Solidly said. And Hewitt’s retort about Benghazi was absolutely brilliant.

JOY REID: The question of a president’s demeanor, his comportment, you think of things like the Cuban missile crisis, having a steady hand in a moment like that that could have meant nuclear war. You think about the decisions that presidents have to make that can mean life or death. Having somebody in the White House who is erratic and who has to be — has to have his phone taken away from him because he can’t stop himself from tweeting an invitation to Gennifer Flowers. Doesn’t that worry you just in terms of his comportment and demeanor, Hugh Hewitt?HUGH HEWITT: No. I am much more worried about Secretary Clinton fleeing the State Department at 1:00 A.M in the morning on the night of Benghazi.
