Last night, after saying Grace at the dinner table, my youngest asked me why I prayed for those who never made it home to give us the freedom to pray.
My wife and I told our sons of the uncles in our family trees that never made it home to their parents, never got married, never had children, and never had a life so we could enjoy life in peace.
May those who paid the ultimate price Rest in Peace and may we never forget that what we have cost them everything.

Our veterans who did not come home alive. It can be a tough day for those who did survive.
Well done Branco!
