You would’ve thought that Caribbean types, having long had black prime ministers and presidents and with a long history of mocking them, would’ve known better than to fall for an empty suit. Guess not. Well, the Haitians gave given up on the American answer to Duvalier and Aristide.
I would surmise, that there is a person of Haitian descendants who feels exactly the same way. American born as Ludmya Bourdeau, married and is now Mia Love..
And there is a very good chance that she will be in Congress next January. Here’s to a very good 2014 Election Day.

What Day — What day should it be?
What am I speaking of? The “BH Obama Federal Holiday”; the time all Americans celebrate the life, death and accomplishments of Barack Hussein Obama: America’s first African-American President.
This holiday commemorates the day and era when Americans truly surrendered their God given liberties and rights to their fellow man.
Some characteristically racist conservatives will call this BBT Day(Big Black Turd Day) – speaking of our dead president’s ethnicity and reported fragrance. Other global citizen’s will refer to this as “Check Day”, referring to all the free entitlements people give the 99% of the population.
Regardless, today Jan 2, 2014 is a day for all Americans to celebrate. It was on this day that America finally made room for the 3,000,000 goat herders and camel jockey’s that she had encouraged to emigrate into her borders! It was on this day in history that America’s fate was sealed, making this once great nation a 3rd World Hell Hole — a place to graze sheep and goats. Now there is room for every inbreed goatherd, and his sister!
First. There will never be a day when people celebrate loosing their liberties. The people who would “celebrate” will not acknowledge that they are loosing liberties but instead think that they gained “equality” and a safety net for the poor and disenfranchised. Others, like me, and many of the readers of this blog will never give up the fight for individual liberty.
Second. You do realize that by phrasing things in the way you did you will always alienate people who are on the fence and provide fodder for those who are actively trying to engrandize the state and reduce the power of the individual.

I’m not sure how to interpret this picture. I do know, however, that the Creole radio stations in Miami were rabidly campaigning for BO in 2012 and the overwhelming majority of Haitians whom I encounter in an academic milieu remain ardent supporters…because, you know, America is soooooooo unfair.
