Media connection to Obamacare Navigator fraud videos

Project Veritas published a video showing members of the nonprofit National Urban League (NUL) appearing to counsel applicants to lie on their Obamacare forms and “defraud the federal government.” Alarming and quite a preview of the corruption that will come with our new bureaucracy. Helpful also to take a look at the connections between groups like these, our government, and the mainstream media.

It turns out, in the case of the NUL, all three come together quite tidily.

The NUL’s allegiance to Obamacare stems all the way from its president,  Marc Morial, who sits on the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability. Morial is connected to more than the President — Capitol City Project reports:

The National Urban League (NUL) is gaining nationwide attention after being caught on tape by James O’ Keefe’s Project Veritas suggesting undercover reporters lie on their Obamacare enrollment applications. The president of the group, Marc Morial, sits on an Obama advisory board.Morial, the current President and CEO of NUL, is a former Louisiana State Senator and Mayor of New Orleans. On March 29, 2012, President Obama appointed him as a member of the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability.Morial also has direct ties to the mainstream media. His wife, Michelle Miller, is a correspondent for CBS News and is based out of New York.

Media, government, and the nonprofit world — quite a threesome.
