Hackers around the world are plotting to strike Israel’s online presence in a coordinated cyber-attack later this week. The effort, known as “OpIsrael,” which is being organized by hacktivist group Anonymous, aims to target the 100 largest websites in the country, especially those of banks, credit card companies, and communications firms.
The attack is scheduled to take place Sunday, April 7. That evening, Israel begins to mark Holocaust Remembrance Day.
According to “Mauritania Attacker,” who leads a group of hackers called AnonGhost, “the hacking teams have decided to unite against Israel as one entity, and Israel should be getting prepared to be ‘erased’ from the Internet.”
“Its gonna be the biggest ever operation launched against any country, Its gonna be Huge [sic]!” said Mauritania Attacker in an interview to The Hackers Post.

I keep telling my kids, there is no such thing as anonymity on the Internet. This particular game sounds like an attempt to suck in a bunch of kids and wannabes as cover for something else.

What are the hackers protesting?
They are not protesting murder; otherwise they would be protesting elective abortion. They are not protesting rape; otherwise they would would be protesting South Africa, and native black population which makes it the “rape capital of the world.” They are not protesting slavery; otherwise they would be protesting Islamic nations in Africa where generational slavery is still an institution. They are not protesting redistributive change (i.e. involuntary exploitation); otherwise they would be protesting communist, socialist, and dictatorial regimes. They are not protesting environmental disruption; otherwise they would be protesting environmental businesses. They are not protesting occupation; otherwise they would be protesting Arabs who occupy most of the Middle East and Northern Africa.
What exactly are they protesting?
They must be part of the Left’s anarchist wing, which exists to disrupt governments and societies to create a political opportunity for a consolidation of control. They don’t wait for a crisis, they manufacture it.
Then again, they may have an ulterior motive when they ignore the worst human and civil rights violations. Not unlike the Kosovo affair. I wonder why the Left is uniquely obsessed with Israel.

This Anonymous announcement is laughable.
Is there anything more stupid than announcing an attack before it occurs? Those hackers are not very bright. And gloating over wiping out Israel? About as dumb as Iran’s Immadinnerjacket. Was the Stuxnet announced beforehand?
