So the county ends up with 2 parties, Democrat and Democrat-Lite.

Bravo, Mr. Branco! Not one of these rascals even read the “fiscal cliff” bill, and still haven’t, apparently.
As much as I like the cartoon the election last November proves this erroneous. Half the people in this country did not even know what they were voting for.
