I posted yesterday about the race between David Cicilline (D RI-01) and Republican Brendan Doherty.
Cicilline has managed to pull into a small lead because of an over-the-top Mediscare campaign and faded memories of Cicilline’s cover-up of Providence’s financial disaster.
The Doherty campaign has just launched a new commercial reminding the public of the deception.
This is a winnable race. The last 30 days will be spent reminding the public of how Cicilline deceived them. It is a raw nerve in the Providence area, but Doherty needs the money to keep the ads on the air.
