“nor can a peace be brokered”

The title isn’t about the Middle East, although it could be.

It’s John Nolte’s persuasive analysis of the mainstream media in light of the hot mic comment initially thought to come from an ABC News staff member that the Romneys are “happy to party while black people drown”:

The media cannot be reasoned with nor can a peace be brokered. We must defeat these people because that’s what they intend to do to us. When you believe our nominee is happy to party while black people drown, you can only believe that we possess no humanity. You can’t reason with people who hate you. You just can’t.

Nolte didn’t know how right he was. It turns out it wasn’t some low-level ABC staffer, it was David Challian, Washington Bureau Chief for Yahoo! News.

This is how they think, how they talk behind our backs, and how they inevitably frame the news to work against us.

Update:  Erick Erickson had a post today not specific to the hot mic incident, but which reflects the mainstream media race-card playing herd mentality, Is The Media Coordinating On Race Baiting?  Ask John Harris and Politico:

It is not an accident that the media, immediately after the Democrats started pushing out the War on Women, began running stories about the GOP’s hostility to women.  It is now not an accident that the media, led by NBC and the Politico (which also partnered on that pathetic GOP primary debate), would peddle out the GOP and race stories. It is far too much to be a coincidence that the Politico and NBC have ties, sometimes in the same bed, to Democrat and leftwing activists and then hop out of bed on the same page as the Democrats’ talking points.
