I am pleased to announce that Antonio F. Branco will begin contributing political cartoons created exclusively for Legal Insurrection.
Tony will continue his work at other websites, including Conservative Daily News and NetRight Daily, but has agreed to create two weekly cartoons specifically for Legal Insurrection.
Recently, you have seen two of Tony’s cartoons here, one regarding Obama’s “you didn’t build that” speech and another regarding the premature announcement of the Tea Party’s demise.
Tony’s work is on par, in my estimation, with the best political cartoonists. The good news is that we will have him contributing to Legal Insurrection; the bad news is that it’s only a matter of time before some big-time publication or syndicator scoops him up because he’s that good. Actually, that “bad news” would be “good news” because he deserves a broader audience.
Join Tony’s Facebook page, Freedom’s Battle, and please also consider a donation to him, as it’s not easy breaking into the political cartoon market.
Other bloggers and websites are free to reprint Tony’s Legal Insurrection cartoons provided a link back to the blog post is provided.
Here is Tony’s first cartoon for Legal Insurrection, regarding Harry Politics:

And Harry Reid is a pedophile. I heard it from some investor.
Pedophile? I heard he was transgendered.
His father would be so sad.
Well obviously his father is a slackjawed, bigoted, racist, sexist, rethuglican, tea partier who should be ashamed of himself!

Cool! I love political cartoons and these are great! Good work!
Harry Reid gives me the creeps. He reminds me of Gollum.
Search Bing for ‘blobfish’.
I think that’s Sleazy Harry’s sperm donor.
Congrats Tony…
Hope Obama doesn’t try to take credit for creating this job.
Wait, nevermind.
Can we give him ideas on good topics for cartoons? I just had a good idea this weekend, about which I told my husband.
Welcome aboard, Tony.
How about a cartoon avatar of our Fearless Leader, Professor Jacobson, for the masthead?
Cartoon is good but would have been better without the dialog balloon. Simpler.
Excellent work, Tony. Umm, can ya’ do one when harry is deposited, in The Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Repository?
Romney has publicly stated that the statements of dingy-harry reid and other d-cRAT socialists concerning his taxes are LIES without a shred of truth behind them.
Meanwhile, dingy-harry has NOT denied the rumors that he is a life-long pederast.
Interesting.
Congratulations Professor!
I distinctly recall your moving post at Andrew Breitbart’s death–that you had wondered where LI was headed and knew the direction then. I’ve watched as LI has grown and developed over the past few months…dynamic, fearless, making an impact. Tony’s work is a welcome addition.
My dh and son saw Harry in the men’s room at O’Hare the last weekend in July. Creepy doesn’t begin to describe him. I saw him as he walked down the hall with a bizarre entourage of four. The US Senate should not be a lifetime appointment.
GRRRRRRREAT!
I hope he has the opportunity (Jan ’13) of doing a rendition of Porky Pig’s “That’s All Folks!” as pertains to the Obama administration!
Great cartoons and great addition to LI!!
Nice score Professor…Mr. Branco is a GREAT addition…
Welcome, Antonio! You made my day!
Smiling. Professor, you wascally wabbit!
All. Win.
I have followed Tony’s cartoons and his other works for many years. Tony is a great artist and so captures facial expressions with his point of view. Congratulations on getting your art where others can see it Tony!
Tony’s cartoons are Great….but only 2 a week?
Sigh 🙁
Have patience little Sis, The demand for more will come.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with and knowing Tony Branco for about four years and he’s a great talent, a great artist and an even greater friend.
An outstanding addition, professor!
Not to offend your skills as a cartoonist, but Harry Reid is already a caricature of a Senator. A buffoon. A joke.
“But being this is the Tea Party, the most powerful grassroots political movement in the world and can clean your clock at the ballot box, you’ve gotta ask yourself a question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya, punk?”
How about a cartoon highlighting Senator Reid’s deep involvement in the Jimmy Hoffa disappearance?

Reid’s follow-up comment….”GOLUM!!! GOLUM!!! Where is my precious!!!!”
Awesome cartoon!
Welcome aboard, great cartoon. The lettering Eastwood’s shirt had me going for a minute, though – at first glance, I didn’t think it said “CLINT”…
This is GREAT!!
Our very own political cartoons
and the inagural ‘toon was quite splendid
we will enjoy
welcome Tony
and thank you Prof!
