Cry baby

Cry baby

From reader J:

I work on the north side of Milwaukee, WI. I was behind this car on my way home from work last night. I think it says it all…

The uber liberals never cease to amaze me with their transparency.

I’ll keep my eyes open for more gems. It’s an incredible (and scary) place to live right now! More out-of-state license plates than I’ve seen in my 10 years here. I wish the unions could be exposed for the thugs that they are.

Public employee unions hide behind the skirts of real labor unions. Conservatives shouldn’t aid them at their game by lumping the two together.

I am not much of a union fan, but I tend to agree with the first commenter. Public sector unions have less reason to exist than professional sports unions. A bunch of civil-service protected whiny “professionals” covered by a union that exists for the sole purpose of raping the taxpayers.

I’d say the “Wisconsin Fist” is an appropriate symbol, since they’ve been “fisting” the taxpayer for 50 years.

Conservatives don’t lump unions together.

That is the whole purpose of unions…lumping together.

You know, “Solidarity forever”? The “brotherhood of the working man”.

That kind of thing.

I NEVER heard Trumka disavow a public-sector union. At. All.

But I think Reticulator is making a good point. In WI the problem is the public union mentality and their sense of entitlement. By lumping the public & private unions together, attacking the public unions also attacks the private unions. We have private unions in WI that have made major concessions to keep jobs in WI that dwarf anything the public unions have had to concede. Examples are Mercury Marine & Harley Davidson, to name a few. I know that the union rank & file may have empathy for what the public sector employes have had to deal with, but I’m not so sure they feel that public sector employes need to be exempted from having to deal with concessions.

I can’t see the point that Conservatives make private-sector unions feel attacked in the Wisconsin thing.

We don’t. Nobody is attacking private-sector union prerogatives.

The PUBLIC-sector unions sought to get support from their private brethren, and did…and do. Still today.

Recognize the bumper sticker on the right? Blue Meanies.

Maybe they just want to be aborted?

Is that a VW ? What sort of price does it go for?

Why not a Trabant?

Definitely a woman’s car.
