From reader and frequent photographer Scott, who sent this photo with the subject line “It seems I’m not alone”:
I regret that I’ve been remiss in getting images out to you, especially since Raleigh seems the perfect battleground state again in 2012. I’ll try to do better as we inch toward November.
My wife spotted this one as we sat at a red light earlier this morning on a rainy Saturday in North Carolina. Since Andrew Breitbart’s death on Thursday, I’ve found myself looking for signs that things are going to be alright. I think I’m going to be just fine.
Thanks again for the eloquent work you do, rest assured it does not go unappreciated.

I miss him too, but it’s been a quarter century. Taking heart from him and passing his enduring lessons on to emerging generations are one thing. Living in the past—in a past that tends to become idealized, in a past whose differences with the present continue to accumulate—is another.
I miss Reagan policies that were in part a great deal due to Gingrich’s leadership while in Congress. Gingrich was to the right of Reagan on some things. What I would like to see is a conservative electorate who is also tolerant of others. It is possible-Gingrich is proof.

Thanks for that one Professor. I actually teared up the day Reagan left office because I knew what we were losing and as it turns out, it was even a worse loss to our country than I could imagine.
“The Gipper” is with all Conservatives in spirit. He would have loved the Tea Party.
It’s not too early for some “I miss Andrew” stickers imo.
Heck, I’m starting to miss Carter. At least he was fun to laugh at.
