Allowing myself a bit of nostalgia for the Tastee-Freeze in Crystal River. . . We’d stop there every weekend on our way to our little fish camp on the Weekie Wachie river. The central-west coast was pure Old Florida until retirees from Ohio discovered it and turned it into the nightmare Hwy 19 has become. *sigh*
