Thanksgiving Eve Open
Happy Thanksgiving Eve. Here are some things I’ve noticed but have not been able to do separate posts about:
- ABA Gives “Not Qualified” Rating to 14 of 185 Proposed Obama Judicial Nominees. This reminds me of the futile attempt to stop the nomination of a federal judge in Rhode Island who got a barely passing grade from the ABA.
- No one wins the primaries and there is a brokered convention? It’s possible given the new Republican delegate rules. The not-Romneys collectively prevent Romney from getting a majority, then there’s wheeling and dealing, and possibly a “draft” movement to “save the party from an unpopular nominee.”
- False rumors being spread that New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez’s grandparents were illegal immigrants.
- Chuck Schumer was behind the shutdown of a Tea Party meeting on Capitol Hill. He will not hesitate to abuse power, so let’s make sure he doesn’t have any.
- Why America is exceptional, a graphic example.
- Delaying the Keystone pipeline was a huge, massive, stand up and cheer victory … so says The Nation.
- Yes, the New START Treaty was pretty much a joke and a failure, as I predicted.
- S.E. Cupp does the best Jennifer Rubin impression yet, calling Newt “kind of a terrible person” and comparing him to Michael Vick (after which she denied comparing him to Michael Vick). Now someone remind me who S.E. Cupp is and who made her Drama Queen.
- Social conservatives in Iowa are desperately trying to find someone who is not a certain candidate.
- Just like in Colorado, a judge gave Democrats a big redistricting win in Texas. All the Texans out there tell me what it all means.
What else?
