And where is President Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder in all of this? When did he first know about the operation? In his testimony to the House Oversight Committee on May 3, 2011, Holder stated, “I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.” But the DOJ’s own documents prove that Holder had been receiving briefings on Fast and Furious for nearly a year before that date. In other words, our government’s top law enforcement official, Eric Holder, lied to the American public. He finally admitted this week to the Senate Judiciary Committee, “In my testimony before the House committee [on May 3], I did say a few weeks. I probably could have said a couple of months. What I said about a few weeks was inaccurate based on what happened.”
When the nation’s highest law enforcement official lies to the American people, he must go.
And if he claims that he didn’t lie, then how else do we explain this situation? He’s either lying or he’s so grossly incompetent and lazy that he didn’t read important life and death briefings from his deputy attorney general and didn’t know about this deadly operation run by people under him. So, which is it? Incompetent, lazy, or lying? No matter which explanation fits, he needs to go.

I agreed with something I read that compared …the number of dead from the ‘transformational Watergate’ to the total number of dead from the act and coverup of “Fast & Furious”.
I moped for three days after the Palin announcement but then brightened considerably she wanted to single-handedly repeat in 2012 what she was able to do in 2010 for small government Austrian Economics “Strict Constructionist’ candidates.
Lets hope the 2012 Election is a reflection of the 1920 Election and not the 100th anniversary of the 4-way 1912 Election [That got us “The Progressive Era”, Eugenics, Segregation of the Civil Service and Military, oh and The UN].
Her gun turret is aiming at a secondary target.
Or perhaps she is shaping the battlefield.
I defer to her superior marksmanship.
I have thought and written that I felt as though I was being a bit on the conspiratorial side of the argument suggesting that F&F was an assault upon the 2nd Amendment.
I just about fell off my my chair reading the p.s. to her post.
Holder has hit the trifecta:
He is guilty of misfeasance, malfeasance and nonfeasance.
That’s a tough one to accomplish but this Jackhole managed to do it.
Of course he had help. We all figure this was not a plan to track weapons into Mexico but to provide “proof” that the illegal guns in Mexico were coming from the US so they could enact some good old base pandering gun control laws.
They needed a win somewhere seeing as how everything they’ve touched has turned to sh!t.
Oh wait; so did this.
That Holder hasn’t resigned just shows how either arrogant or unprincipled this COWARD is.
He isn’t MAN enough to stand up and take the responsibility for this travesty.
This wasn’t just a government program/plan gone bad; this cost people their LIVES! Worse than Waco in my estimation.
Wait. Didn’t establishment elitist David Frum say she had to live the rest of her life in obscurity? I thought he decided that she would be forgotten and not heard from again.
Of course she is right. And the fact that Obama refuses to fire him just goes to show how incompetent he is for defending Holder.
Poor David Frum. He must be extremely annoyed that she just won’t obey his wishes and be quiet. And that when she does speak out she’s right on the money.
The lady has a way with words. It all sounds so clear when she says it. I do hope that now that she will not be a candidate she can repeat her feat of 2010… It boggles the mind to think that so many attacked and hated someone who has her priorities straight. I repeat, she has a way with words. (Oh, and those who want to come back with some sort of cheap shot, save your breath, that way it won’t be wasted).

I keep reading all these people calling for Holder’s resignation but I’m not going along with the crowd.
I want him hauled out in handcuffs.
Gunwalker had NO WAY to operate as claimed. There was no mechanism ever employed to track the guns back to the cartels. That is just a thin cover story for the truth.
Gunwalker, grenadewalker and gangwalker (the two lesser known ATF crimes) all had one purpose in mind. To put further restrictions on the law-abiding US citizens who are willing to own firearms.
That was the goal. They put money in the hands of known felons and told them to buy weapons for the cartels. They wanted the weapons to trace directly back. They instructed the gun store personnel to let the sales go through and then “lost track” because there was no method ever set up to track these weapons.
They were meant to show up at crime scenes to gin up support for new regulations, aided and abetted by the MSM who are anti-gun.
This was not started at the low level since it involved coordinating money issued to known felons with instructions of which gun store to go to and what weapons to buy. That takes high-level muscle.
The purpose of Gunwalker was to violate the Constitutionally recognized rights of U.S. citizens. It was a conspiracy from the start.
That makes this treason. That this treason has already resulted in known deaths on both sides of the border I want to see the death penalty on the table.
I want this held in a federal court in the American Southwest, where the crimes took place. Death Penalty on the table. It doesn’t leave the table without the naming of names.
Resignation? I don’t want this treasonous scum to get off with less than a slap on the wrist.
Holder will neither resign nor be fired. We all know that.
For some reason, I keep thinking of another politician in another country, who took prisoners, dressed them up in Polish uniforms and then told the world he was justified in doing everything he did after that.
One big lie – a few “expendables”…. and then decades of oppression, and millions of lives lost trying to defeat the oppression.
I agree with Kerrvillian – this was never about “tracking” guns. This was about building a phony reason to tear down another obstacle against oppression.
And no… I don’t wear a tin-foil cowboy hat, I don’t buy 9-11 videos, and birth certificates don’t fascinate me. What I do believe is there are concentrated efforts to deceive the American people, that there are efforts to subvert entire legislative processes, and efforts to “win by any means”. I only need to look back at the last three years to draw these conclusions.

Gov. Palin had her chance and opportunity, but instead chose to financially gain from her supporters, instead of putting her money where her mouth is..
Gov. Palin, she has forfeited her right to make any judgements on the Republican Party Presidential Nomination process, and the field of candidates participating in it, and the issues we are discussing, and how to solve them.
No one respect one’s decisions based on excuses, especially after Gov. Palin’s 3 year trek, to politically set her up, for the U.S. Presidency, by promoting her books with book tours, prancing around the nation in cross country bus tours, making a documentary movie of her Alaska Governorship, making political speeches at Tea Party rallies, and other coveted conservative organizations and establishments, for exorbitant fees, then making Mama Grizzlies videos, and other such political candidacy ads, and so on.. making millions of dollars along the way, just so she can say, “sorry, but not I’m running”.
Gov. Palin no longer has any credibility in the conservative political arena, let alone any political arena, and has no political base anymore.. She can squawk about the issues, all she wants to, and tell us what we already know in more speeches, but it’s now just empty words, from an empty politician.. She has now become just another has been politician, or in her case, a never-was, and never-will be.. who is telling us what we already know, and we have the news media pundits already doing that..
Now the issue is, Gov. Palin vs. “Truth, Integrity, Credibility, Reliability, Dependability, and Trust “.. as she has forsaken and betrayed these Constitutional Conservative Values and Principles, as well as the people who believed in her, and supported her..
She is now the Ross Perot of the Republican Party..
