Today is the 10th anniversary of the first blog post at Instapundit.

While we frequently wish bloggers happy blogoversaries, Instapundit really deserves thanks. It’s hard to imagine where the conservative blogosphere would be without Instalanches, and the support of Prof. Glenn Reynolds.
I am particularly grateful because readers frequently tell me that they found Legal Insurrection through links at Instapundit. I try to pay that debt forward by linking to other conservative bloggers, particularly newbies. As “they” say, “Being linked by me is like getting an Instalanche, only smaller.” Much smaller.
So happy blogoversary to Instapundit, often imitated, never duplicated.

I think I found Legal-Ins on a blog roll; probably Pajamas Media before the big break-up.
I clicked every link, read every blog, and went from there.
