I’m not so sure I can agree. The economy would still have bottomed out, and Bush would still be unable to find his veto pen. He lost to Barney Frank and Franklin Raines three times in trying to get Fannie and Freddie under control. His “Party” in D.C. was running away from him as fast as their fear of the MSM could drive them.
What ‘Joan Of Argghh’ said. If Bush had been a strong fiscal conservative and figured out how to use his veto pen, much of the economic pain we are experiencing now would not have been necessarily.
Where are now is not ‘W’s fault alone. &ngsp; The Republicans pols share a huge role in the economic debacle as it is now and thus share the blame for this ‘Hope and Change’ era.
