Keith Olbermann is out at MSNBC according to a press release issued by MSNBC:
STATEMENT REGARDING KEITH OLBERMANN
MSNBC and Keith Olbermann have ended their contract. The last broadcast of “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” will be this evening. MSNBC thanks Keith for his integral role in MSNBC’s success and we wish him well in his future endeavors.

Lawrence O’Donnell will be moving to the 8 p.m. slot, and Ed WhatsHisName moving to 10. By outing Olby and inning Eddie, MSNBC arguably has moved further to the left in its prime time schedule. Leaning forward, baby, leaning forward.

mosey on over to HuffPo and view some of the comments……typical lefty response: "I'm never watching MSNBC again". Why is it these people give up so easily, and why isn't the right exploiting that? How many times did I hear it in 2004: "Bush won reelection, I'm moving to Canada" or more recently "Nikki Haley won the Governor's race, I'm moving to NC"? You never hear that out of the right.
