Someone please point me to a piece as puffy and fluffy as the one Ben Smith just wrote about Kamala Harris, the new Democratic Attorney General of California:

It’s easy to understand why Kamala Harris, California’s next attorney general, is being called the future of the Democratic Party, a ris...

Michael Shaw, who blogs at HuffPo, has a serious case of PDS.

Upon seeing an AP photo with a caption asserting that Sarah Palin had “her hair done during a visit to a cholera treatment center,” Shaw went wild:

If I find the fantastically clever Sarah Palin to be one of the shallowest and...

Via ABC News:

The website and personal credit card information of former Gov. Sarah Palin were cyber-attacked today by Wikileaks supporters, the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate tells ABC News in an email.

Hackers in London apparently affiliated with “Operation Payback” – a group of supporters of Julian Assange and Wikileaks – have...

I take offense to MoDo‘s PDS hyperbole:

Sarah’s view of America is primitive. You’re either a pointy-headed graduate of Harvard Law School or you’re eviscerating animals for fun, which she presents as somehow more authentic.

I’m the former, but not the latter, yet.  But the two absolutely are not mutually exclusive.

Hell, if Mike Dukakis...

I’m trying really, really hard not to take the bait.  I promised you I would be better next time.

At least I’ve recognized that I have a problem, which is the first step, right?

You see, the thing is, I just enjoy it too much, so I can’t stay away.  So rather than...

The Republican Party Can’t Win Without The Support of Palin Supporters

I posted yesterday about Ed Rollins being the latest of the “I knew Reagan” types to use a variation on Lloyd Bentsen’s “You’re no Jack Kennedy” line against Sarah Palin.

Rollins was Mike Huckabee’s campaign manager in the 2008 cycle, and guess who Rollins thought was the next Ronald Reagan:

“Governor Huckabee has probably...

The attack dogs are out, and they’re not Democratic.

They are Republicans who “knew Reagan” and play the phony “you’re no Reagan” or “how dare you compare yourself to Reagan” or “how dare you put down Reagan,” or some variation on that theme, against Sarah Palin.

The latest is Ed Rollins (Palin, I knew Reagan....

There is a lot which could be said about Joe Scarborough’s very personal and demeaning screed against Sarah Palin, but I’ll rest on this response:

“You are the Alan Colmes of MSNBC, and I mean no offense to Alan Colmes.”

On second thought, maybe I just insulted Alan Colmes.  Sorry.

Update: Must read.  The...

The Obsession With Liberals’ Obsession With Sarah Palin

Charles Krauthammer has lambasted the mainstream (i.e. liberal) media for its obsession with Sarah Palin.

That goes double for liberal entertainers and academics, and triple for the left-blogosphere, which is nuts-in-the-head (that’s a precise medical term in A...

I alluded earlier today, in passing, to the idiocy of the left-wing blogs and some mainstream media outlets in making a big deal out of Sarah Palin’s obvious slip of the tongue — corrected seconds later — in referring to North Korea instead of South Korea.  Here was my entry:

I was too busy voting for her to watch the performance.

I really want Bristol to win, so that Sally Quinn has a full blown conniption:

My favorite story is that of 67-year-old Steven Cowan who couldn’t stand it another minute and blasted his TV with a shotgun after Brandy lost.  He...

One of my theories is that the best chance to defeat Obama in 2012 is to make the election about Obama, not about the Republican candidate.  The Obama record is so abysmal, and the Obama aura so shattered, that 2012 could be a repeat of 2010.

Each of the current top 4...
