I graduated from Vassar College in May 2014.  I was the President of the Vassar Conservative Libertarian Union, and the anti-Israel fervor found me.

Before we go into this sordid story, it gives us perspective on the times to remember that Vassar College was once a great friend of Israel. In 1975, “Students...

Shortly before my speech at Vassar on May 5, 2014, Julian Hassan, the President of the Vassar Conservative-Libertarian Union which organized the event, received a message on a Facebook group from a leader of Vassar Students for Justice in Palestine:

“Remember the devil has enough advocates.”

Hassan responded:

Earlier today I posted how Vassar anti-Israel group’s unhinged social media sparks student bias complaints.  The social media campaign by SJP initially was a reaction to my speech at Vassar on May 5 against the boycott of Israel, and then grew more vitriolic in the following days.

Not all minds were changed by my speech at Vassar. The speech and lengthy Q&A (see video below) took place after none of the 39 Vassar professors who signed a letter defending the academic boycott of Israel took up my challenge to debate any or all of them.

But that’s okay.

Well, I’m back from Vassar.

No debate, of course. But a good turnout. I didn’t take a head count but the room capacity is 158 and it was pretty full. A significant local presence from surrounding area synagogues, alumni, a very small number of faculty, and students.

There were no disruptions of...

By the time you read this, I’ll probably be in the car driving to Poughkeepsie, NY, where I will appear tonight at 7 p.m. to give a speech in support of Israel and academic freedom.

And against the Open Letter signed by 39...
