An educator at an NAIS school says that since "sexuality exists within the child" and "not in a box," sexual knowledge should not be withheld even from the youngest children. This radical idea is based on the premise that since infants are born with a sexual identity, they are sexual beings "socially" from birth.

Prestigious Georgetown Day School (GDS) was in the spotlight last week, as Senators Ted Cruz (R-Tex) and Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn) questioned Judge Ketanji Brown's Jackson's views on CRT-based instruction at the school. Jackson has been a trustee since 2019 at GDS, where tuition is $40,000 a year or higher. The school is a longstanding member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). The judge testified in support of the school, but also insisted that "I do not believe that any child should be made to feel as though they're racist or though they are not valued, or though they are less than, that they are victims, that they are oppressors. I don't believe in any of that."

Parents at the elite private Westminster Schools in Atlanta are rebelling against the imposition of Critical Social Justice on their students. Westminster is a member school of National Association of Independent Schools. A letter sent to the Internal Revenue Service signed "a Taxpayer" includes a list of 16 partisan incidents the author says qualifies Westminster as an "action organization," violating the school's tax-exempt status.

As part of my investigation into the National Association of Independent Schools' (NAIS) People of Color Conference (PoCC), I watched "Growing Young Voices: Understanding Black Lives Matter for Teachers," a presentation where two elementary school teachers at the $35,000/yr University of Chicago Lab School detail their implementation of the "Black Lives Matter at School" curriculum.

You've probably never heard of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), but you need to know about it. NAIS is the driving force behind the radical racial and gender programming that has captured most K-12 private schools (called "independent" schools) across the country, particularly the elite schools that feed higher education, journalism, politics, and government.
