About: Dexter Van Zile

Dexter Van Zile has served as the Christian Media Analyst for the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America (CAMERA) since 2006.

In his work at CAMERA, Van Zile written extensively about how Christian churches and para-church organizations have responded to the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Van Zile has also worked tirelessly to publicize the suffering of Christians in Muslim-majority countries in the Middle East. His writings have appeared in a number of outlets including The Boston Globe, The Jerusalem Post, The Algemeiner, PJMedia and The Jewish Political Studies Review. He has published a collection of articles under the title of Submitted Under Protest: Essays Written in Defense of Western Freedom.

Van Zile, a former Peace Corps volunteer, received a BA in politics and government from the University of Puget Sound and an MA in political science and environmental studies from Western Washington University.

He is a Massachusetts native.
