When I reported that 150 “caravan migrants” attempted to storm the border near San Diego on Christmas Eve, I noted that a second caravan had been formed in Honduras.

It appears that the next band of border busters is

Mexican Ambassador to the U.S. Geronimo Gutierrez spoke to The Washington Examiner about the migrant caravan that is near our border.

While everyone bashes President Donald Trump over his criticisms of the migrants, Gutierrez confirmed that the caravan has people in it with criminal backgrounds.

The first wave of the massive migrant caravan arrived in Tijuana at the US-Mexico border Tuesday morning. Some 350 people rolled up in busses with at least 5,000 more on the way.

Reports have come out today that the military will deploy 5,000 troops to the border. Initial reports last week stated that Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis planned to send only 800.

A Pentagon spokesperson said the situation remains fluid and the number of troops could change.
