Israel repeatedly has bombed Iranian missile and weapons depots in Syria, along with other Iranian assets. In most of the cases Syria is quick to blame Israel, and Israel is silent.

John Kerry’s Iranian “partner for peace” has spoken again. This time calling for an all-out war against Israel, the only trustworthy U.S. alley in the Middle East.

Iran’s foreign minister Javad Zarif, who also negotiated the now-infamous Nuclear Deal, seems to enjoy a great personal relationship with Kerry and they both even...

Iran and its allies have taken a beating in Syria according to recent reports.

Perhaps the most spectacular was the airstrike overnight that killed the notorious child killer, Samir Kuntar and eight other terrorists in a Damascus suburb. Prof. Jacobson rightly called Kuntar “among the most notorious and vicious terrorists,” for shooting...

On September 30, Russia broke from existing frameworks when it began its own airstrikes against rebels in Syria. As the airstrikes continued, it became clear that Vladimir Putin’s sympathies toward the brutal Assad regime were become manifest in the bombs Russian aircraft dropped not on Assad’s strongholds, but on anti-regime rebels...

We are told that the Obama administration, its successor and European governments will strictly enforce Iran’s adherence to the nuclear deal.

Put aside for the moment the problems with the deal, and focus on compliance. Put aside also that Iran has a history of cheating on nuclear issues.

We have a recent example...

Yesterday we reported how an Israeli helicopter strike just over the Syrian Golan border killed several senior Hezbollah terrorist leaders, including Jihad Mughniyeh, the son of legendary and assassiated Hezbollah terror coordinatior Imad Mughniyeh. The elder Mughniyeh was responsible, among other things, for the Marine barracks bombing in Beirut that...

Our friends over at National Review pulled this little gem. We’ve officially entered foreign policy bizarro world when the Department of State is absolutely refusing to work with Syria, but is open to working with Iran to fight (however they’re defining that) ISIS.

Blitzer asked Department of State Spokesperson Marie Harf if...

In addition to last week’s Wall Street Journal article about Iran’s role in training Shi’ites to fight in Syria, there was another important article.

The New York Times reported U.N. Data on Gas Attack Point to Assad’s Top Forces.

A lot of attention is focused on Jihadist elements fighting in Syria, and the more “secular” Assad regime.

The most underreported aspect of the civil war is that it’s not just a civil war, it’s a grand power-play by Iran to keep control of Syria as a place both to prepare for...

Iran is declaring a red line in Syria on the use of chemical weapons … by insurgents.

Iran already is deeply involved in backing Assad, but needs an excuse to perpetrate a full-blown intervention.  That excuse might be...

Another one of those things that makes you go hmmm…

This was no ordinary General, via Ynet:

The London-based Arabic newspaper Asharq al-Awsat reported Friday that Hush Husam Nawis, also known as Hassan Shateri, a senior...
