Israeli commandos apparently infiltrated the Gaza strip and assassinated Nur Barakah, a Hamas al-Qassam brigade senior commander in charge of attack tunnels.

Rockets fired from Gaza were shot down today over several major Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv — and landed in the Jerusalem vicinity.

Hamas landed 5 “naval commandos” by sea. They were taken out by an IDF helicopter gunship.

When news first broke that Nur Barake, a senior Hamas operative responsible for attack tunnel construction, was killed in an Israeli commando operation in Gaza, it was assumed that the operative was the target.

In the ensuing firefight, six more Hamas operatives were killed, as well as an Israeli special forces soldier....

Seven Hamas military members were killed on November 11, 2018, when they got in a firefight with Israeli commandos on an intelligence gathering operation deep in the Gaza strip. Among the Hamas dead was tunnel commander Nur Barake.

One Israeli commando was killed.

The trial for Ahmed Abu Khattala, the alleged ringleader of the Benghazi, Libya, attack in September 2012, began today in Washington, D.C.

The attack killed four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens. Khattala has stressed that “he was only a bystander” during the attack.

RIP David Rubinger: Israel’s Iconic Photographer Dies at 92

David Rubinger, the celebrated Israeli photojournalist renowned for taking the iconic June 7, 1967 photo of Israeli soldiers in front of the Western Wall (the Kotel) in Jerusalem shortly after its capture during the Six-Day War, died on Wednesday March 1.

His death was announced yesterday by his children.
