‘I Like to Kill Jews’: Columbia Student Facing Deportation has History of Supporting Terrorism, Antisemitism

“graduated last year from Columbia’s highly selective undergraduate program and is now believed to be a graduate student at its left-wing international affairs school”

A Columbia University student named Mohsen Mahdawi, who is facing deportation, has a very different history than the one that has been pushed by the liberal media.

Mahdawi has expressed support for terrorists and has a record of promoting antisemitism.

The Washington Free Beacon has done a deep dive on this:

‘I Like To Kill Jews’: Columbia Protester Upheld by Media as Gentle Peace Activist Is Accused of Supporting Terrorists, Boasting He Can Use a Machine Gun, in Scathing New Report

Mohsen Mahdawi, the Palestinian Columbia University student who is facing deportation over his central role in the anti-Israel campus protest movement, has a previously undocumented history of “support for terrorists, terrorist organisations, armed violence and those who carried it out,” according to a comprehensive investigation published Wednesday by two investigative journalists.

The findings undermine Mahdawi’s own claims—as well as those by sympathetic media outlets—that he is being targeted by the Trump administration over his peaceful advocacy for Palestinian rights and those living in Gaza. The 100-page investigation, authored by journalists David Collier and Rachel Feldman, unearthed previously unseen statements in which Mahdawi, who’s from the West Bank, promised to “annihilate the Jews,” praised Hamas, honored dead terrorists, and bragged that the Palestinians “have the capacity and conviction to resist, to kill and to wound.”

Mohsen, who graduated last year from Columbia’s highly selective undergraduate program and is now believed to be a graduate student at its left-wing international affairs school, was briefly in immigration detention but was released in April of last year. His case has been dragging out in the courts.

His violence-tinged postings, some of which were published as recently as 2024 while Mahdawi was on U.S. soil, tout “armed resistance in the West Bank or Gaza.” They directly challenge the student provocateur’s portrayal of himself as a reformed and now peaceful activist who long rejected the type of violence commonly endorsed by students who protested alongside Mahdawi at Columbia. The report provides additional evidence that some of Mahdawi’s family members, who he casts as victims of indiscriminate Israeli violence, were actually affiliated with armed Palestinian factions.

The Beacon has actually compiled an entire dossier on this case, which you can read here.

There is no place in our country for this person. Deport ASAP.

Water is wet.

Muslims hate Jews.

The sun comes up in the morning.

    Water is always wet.

Paula in reply to Paula. | September 3, 2026 at 12:46 pm

The other two haven’t changed either.

There’s no such thing as a radical Muslim/Islamist – they all can be “radicalized” because they are raised/taught to hate and thus kill Jews. And they can be forced to do it. They are nice until they no longer want to be or have been told not to be nice.

They are raised to destroy – people need to understand that. Westerners just don’t want to accept this. Many of us know and have worked with nice Muslims but the problem is when they lie to you or worse – they are no long nice, honest or forgiving. Trust is not in their mindset.

The Real Truth in reply to Paula. | September 4, 2026 at 5:09 pm

Yes, Paula, they are all true!

There are two groups of Muslims:

The first acts out to fulfill the Koranic verse commanding Muslims to kill the unbelievers.

The second is perfectly happy in supporting the actions of the first group.

If what I submit isn’t true, where is the outrage over jihadi violence? Where is the call to reform this barbarity?

This dude needs to leave today. And not on an airplane either.

Milhouse in reply to Peter Moss. | September 3, 2026 at 3:22 pm

There are many Moslems, including Moslem religious leaders, who do condemn violence, and define jihad as strictly within ones heart, fighting ones evil inclination.

They’re not a majority, but there are millions of them.

curly surfhouse in reply to Milhouse. | September 3, 2026 at 3:34 pm

You’re an ignoramus on every level Milhouse. People like you with your badly misinformed and misguided opinions and views will be the undoing of the United States; wish we could have you sent over to the Middle East for about a year.

“Curly Surfhouse” seems to be a recycling of one of our other trolls who pop up only to harass me. Like them s/he shows utter contempt not only for the truth but even for the very concept of objective truth, for the idea that things should be opposed or supported merely because they are objectively false or true, without regard for whose ox is gored.

DaveGinOly in reply to Milhouse. | September 3, 2026 at 4:44 pm

Unfortunately, their “good book” preaches taqiyya as a tactic to advance Islam in the face of resistance, so none of the “good” Moslems can be trusted.

They abide by the Quran. I didn’t invent this tenet, they did. If they’re believers, then I know for a fact they may be lying.

Milhouse in reply to DaveGinOly. | September 3, 2026 at 5:14 pm

There are tens of millions of Ahmadi Moslems that reject all armed jihad.

There are several large movements in Indonesia with similar doctrines, having tens of millions of members.

There’s the Moslem World League based in Saudi that rejects armed jihad.

These are all examples of movements that are clearly not practicing taqiyah, they’re preaching to Moslems that jihad is only in the heart, and that if armed jihad is even a thing any more it can only be ordered by a legitimate caliph, which hasn’t existed for over a century.

          paul1 in reply to Milhouse. | September 4, 2026 at 6:32 am

Of course there are. I agree with you. To claim otherwise is wrong. But, and this is a major but, so long as our leaders make no effort to separate the good from the bad in deciding who to allow in and who to attend our schools, that fact is basically irrelevant.

coyote in reply to Milhouse. | September 4, 2026 at 8:19 am

And in even an advanced cancer, the patient generally has more normal cells than malignant ones. But so what? If the malignant ones aren’t completely removed, they overtake the normal ones and kill the patient. In surgery for these, pathologists examine the edges of a removed sample to look for malignant cells. If there are any, the surgeon removes more. It is necessary to remove normal tissue to accomplish this cure.

So, tens of millions of muslims are our idea of peaceful. The peaceful ones aren’t the ones I’m worried about. The radical ones are, and they look pretty much the same as the non-radicals. Likewise, within the nominally peaceful camp, there are supporters and there are eschewers of violence. They all look pretty much alike, too. Their rule book tells them to lie when it suits them, so believing them is a non-starter.

I guess you’d argue that I should wait until one of them actually points a gun at me and pulls the trigger before it would be appropriate to resist. That about right? If not, perhaps you could explain where I’m getting this wrong.

True, yes. But they do nothing to stop or protest the other Muslims that murder.

WomanOfValor in reply to Milhouse. | September 4, 2026 at 10:42 am

It is perfectly legitimate under Islam for Muslims to lie to infidels to gain an advantage. I believe that militant Muslims who dream of restoring the Caliphate and dominating the entire world far outnumber the (allegedly) peaceful ones like Zuhdi Jasser (and we haven’t heard anything from him in years). Even more telling is the fact that the peaceful ones, even if they are the majority, do nothing to rein in the militants. Thus, they are entirely irrelevant.

In any case, this wannabe jihadi has no business being on American soil,

So cocky now that he is in the US. He’d be singing a different tune if he was back in the West Bank. Columbia sure knows how to pick them.

coyote in reply to ztakddot. | September 4, 2026 at 8:09 am

Well, yes. They say a couple times that he “graduated last year from Columbia’s highly selective undergraduate program….”

One can only wonder what criteria they use for that selection.

We cannot continue to welcome people into our Nation who fundamentally disagree with the Western Civilization based underpinnings of its culture, who refuse to honestly renounce beliefs antithetical to it, refuse to adopt behavior the customs and traditions of our society much less those who cling to or actively seek to make allegiances to foreign Nations and foreign entities ….not and maintain our shared society/culture, deter civil strife or preserve any semblance of what it means to be an ‘American’. Far too many folks seem to believe the USA is merely an economic zone and its Citizenship holds little more significance than a membership in an HOA or Costco membership.

He should be deported, but likely deserves to be “disappeared”.

Islam is a cancer in the West. Stop importing these people.

There is no magic American dirt. Their murderous jew hatred is 1400 years old. Their murderous infidel hatred is 1400 years old.

Their murderous hatred will not magically disappear once they touch the magic American dirt. They will not become flag waving Americans cheering for apple pie and justice for all.

They intend to murder us – because we’re infidels; especially jews.

Stop. Importing. These. People.
Islam is a cancer in the West.

“Islam is a cancer in the West.”

Brook Benton said it was a rainy night in Georgia but he felt like it was raining all over the word.

That’s how I feel about Islam.

    Milhouse in reply to LB1901. | September 3, 2026 at 3:21 pm

American dirt can’t change his views; but it does change his legal status. It brings him under the constitution’s protection, so he can’t be punished by loss of his visa merely for expressing these views.

Now if evidence can be found that he personally committed a terrorist act before applying for his visa, and in his application he affirmed that he had not committed any violent crimes, then that lie would be grounds to cancel his visa and deport him.

curly surfhouse in reply to Milhouse. | September 3, 2026 at 3:38 pm

We can always rely on you to take up the wrong position on issues like this. You’d feel differently if you understood the danger of importing Islamists…no good at all comes from their presence in the United States; your Constitutional arguments are not valid in any way when they come here to destroy our way of life you dolt.

Danger is not a valid argument. The constitution doesn’t care whether “any good can come” from something it bans. Liberty is not a value because it leads to good things; it is inherently our core value, and must be upheld regardless of what it leads to. Liberty is inherently good, suppressing it is inherently evil.

Deciding right or wrong based on outcomes means deciding it based on whose ox is gored, which is the very definition of amorality.

henrybowman in reply to Milhouse. | September 3, 2026 at 4:28 pm

We’re tired of being told that the constitution protects the rights of foreigners to come here and undermine the US form of government because danger doesn’t count when it comes to their rights — yet it never seems to protect the rights of NATIVES to use the actual, literal rights that are enshrined in the BoR because of the potential “danger” that we pose by owning or carrying guns, criticizing health officials, on public media, operating churches during ‘dangerous” episodes of scamdemics, or even making “unusual” deposits and withdrawals to our bank accounts. We’re tired of the playing field being not just uneven, but slanted against us. If it were to get slanted against foreign agitators for a few years, it would be — what’s that word? Reparations. And against the actual troublemakers, for a change — not their generational descendants.

Milhouse in reply to Milhouse. | September 3, 2026 at 5:30 pm

The 2A is a different issue from the 1A. Not less important, but different. The principle is the same, but the implementation is different because of a sad history of a long period when it wasn’t taken seriously. We’re still playing catch-up on that and it’ll take decades until it stops being a second-class right.

DaveGinOly in reply to Milhouse. | September 3, 2026 at 4:54 pm

First, as a foreigner, he’s here conditionally, meaning he has agreed to abide by rules of conduct that apply to foreigners (if not to Americans).
Second, there’s no violation of his rights here. Deportation isn’t punishment. It’s a consequence of violating the conditions attendant to his presence in the country.
Third, if he concealed his affiliations and beliefs in order to enter this country, he is here fraudulently (another violation of the conditions under which he was admitted).

Does he have a right to his beliefs? Absolutely. Does he have a right to pronounce those beliefs? Absolutely. Is he here conditionally and violates the terms of his entry, can he be unceremoniously removed? Absolutely. The “due process” he is entitled to is not the same due process due citizens. Citizens aren’t here conditionally. Visitors and immigrants (legal and illegal, the latter’s entry into the country being a tacit agreement to abide by the rules that adhere to the an alien’s illegal entry) are here conditionally and different rules apply to them with regard to their presence in the country, including how long they may remain and under what circumstance they may be removed..

I disagree. During the previous months, SoS Marco Rubio has been a visa revoking machine – hundreds of thousands of them – stating repeatedly that a visa is a privilege, not a right, for foreigners to be here.

IE: step out of line, the man comes, and takes you away…

And that includes some cancer clown, like Mahdawi, burping up an ominous brag of ‘I like to kill jews’. That’s an active voice statement as if he has done it, and we don’t have tolerate this cancer.

I think the Washington Free Beacon has put together a good case against this cancer clown. The Trump admin is correct to revoke his visa.

        Milhouse in reply to LB1901. | September 3, 2026 at 5:28 pm

A certain amount of what Rubio’s done has been illegal, and the courts have stopped him in those instances.

He told Congress he didn’t understand the difference between denying someone a visa in the first place and canceling one that’s already been issued. That’s the problem; the difference is clear.

The Real Truth in reply to LB1901. | September 4, 2026 at 5:20 pm

Right now, England has a major problem with Islam. I have a relative there that is incredibly unhappy with what is happening and has been trying to warn me not to let this happen in America. Unfortunately, there are far too many people here who are complacent, and don’t see the writing on the wall. We MUST stop this invasion before the takeover of America by these people that basically HATE us, and our way of life ! Yes, they ARE a cancer indeed!

‘Facing deportation’? Likely the FBI is ‘watching’ him as they like to do.

We have been invades by the locust horde…immediately send this cretin back to where he belongs…better yet, drop him in the middle of the desert.

Of course he’s at Columbia ; the school loves taking their terror money and handing out bullshit “resistance” degrees. I’m sure his major in international studies will really change the world for the better. Might as well rename it Moron University.

I would like to ban all muslims from entering USA.

Islam’s goal is for everyone in the world to be one of the following:

Muslim
Dhimmi (a real, compliant one)
Dead

Sounds like a totalitarian.

Congress has banned commies from entering USA.

Congress should be able to ban muslims for the same reason as commies.

Milhouse in reply to ParkRidgeIL. | September 3, 2026 at 3:29 pm

Congress can do that, but it hasn’t; and the president can’t do it on his own.

Note, however, that Congress can’t legislate to deport commies for views they express while they’re here.

There was a case in the 1920s, when Congress had barred the entry of anarchists. A famous anarchist from the UK illegally entered the USA, presumably from Canada though that was never proven, and gave a speech in NYC. He was arrested, and before he could be deported he took his case to SCOTUS. He claimed that he was arrested and was about to be deported for his views, which would be unconstitutional. The court agreed that that would be unconstitutional, but found that that was not what was happening. It found that he was not arrested because of his speech; the speech was merely what brought him to the authorities’ attention. His arrest and deportation were due only to his having entered the country illegally, not to what he said while he was here, and so they were valid.

Fly him over to Iran and throw him out of the plane to his freedom fighting brothers.
No parachute.

    Helicopter would work also.
This country is being overthrown and our elected “leaders” are busy shorting stocks and making tik tok videos.

This puke is an Arab Muslim.

The entire, brazen propaganda mythology tactic of descendants of Arab Muslim invaders from Arabia in Gaza/West Bank appropriating an ancient Roman name, coined 600 years before Submission’s founding, in order to grant themselves retroactive historical currency and legitimacy, is contemptible and evil.

Let these dirt worshipping savages stay in their third world shitholes.

With views like that he should never have been granted a visa to the USA. But now that he’s here, the constitution protects his right to say all of these things, and forbids government retaliation against him for saying them, such as deporting him.

Camperfixer in reply to Milhouse. | September 3, 2026 at 3:22 pm

Now you’re just messing with folks…you don’t really believe that do you? (Answer at your own peril😉)

Milhouse in reply to Camperfixer. | September 3, 2026 at 3:31 pm

Of course I do. His right to express all opinions, including advocating violence and genocide, is explicitly protected by the constitution. This is not even slightly controversial. But you’ve already established that you hate the constitution and the law.

Camperfixer in reply to Milhouse. | September 3, 2026 at 6:32 pm

For citizens, not foreigners…any protections they enjoy while on our soil is extended as a courtesy, not a right. Then again, the Left believes healthcare is a right afforded under The Constitution…or should be…because…feelings are more important than rational thought…more illogic on steroids by the usual suspects who need to re-read the founding documents.

curly surfhouse in reply to Camperfixer. | September 3, 2026 at 3:40 pm

He’s fully delusional and thoroughly tone deaf.

CommoChief in reply to Milhouse. | September 3, 2026 at 4:44 pm

Yes it does. Though if his permission to enter the USA was based in deceitful or concealed views at application which would at the time have caused a rejection of his application then his visa can be revoked. Aside from that his current visa does not have to be extended simply b/c he’s now in the USA. The Executive Branch gets to make the decision about which applicants to grant or reject with practically zero judicial interference. He’s free to argue ‘retaliation’ but the burden in immigration is on the applicant not the gov’t.

A due process claims has a substantial impediment b/c there’s no life, liberty or property right interest at stake in the rejection of an application of a visa or its extension/conversion to another visa category or even from visa to green card. None of those are at stake without which his claims for due process fall short. Sure he might be briefly detained within the process but he could always depart the USA voluntarily which ends the detention so no points awarded.

DaveGinOly in reply to CommoChief. | September 3, 2026 at 5:14 pm

The foreigner has no “liberty interest” in entering or remaining in the country. He literally is not at liberty to enter the country, nor is he at liberty to remain in the country. His admission and ongoing presence is at the discretion of the federal government. He can’t claim a liberty interest that he does not possess.

DaveGinOly in reply to Milhouse. | September 3, 2026 at 5:11 pm

So, you’re admitting that when dealing with foreign citizens, the US government may deal with them differently than the way it must deal with citizens, that it may discriminate against foreigners based on their “views”?

That case you mentioned above? Based on your synopsis, it seems that while SCOTUS may have agreed with the plaintiff (that he couldn’t be deported for his speech), it decided based on the fact he had entered the country illegally. The “agreement” appears to have been dicta; the case seems (even as you presented it) to have been decided based on his status as an alien who entered the country illegally.

    Am I wrong?

If I am right, then you tried to pull a fast one on us.

Milhouse in reply to DaveGinOly. | September 3, 2026 at 5:25 pm

Congress (not the government on its own) may bar entry of aliens who are not yet here based on the views they expressed outside US jurisdiction.

The anarchist in the 1920s entered illegally because Congress had said no anarchists can enter the USA. Congress could say that, because until someone is here the constitution doesn’t protect him. And he could be deported for the illegal entry because that’s not speech. But had he entered legally (i.e. before the ban was enacted) he could not have been deported simply for preaching anarchy, because that preaching on US soil was protected speech.

The same thing applies here. Congress can enact a ban on admitting Moslems. It hasn’t, but it could. This guy’s views are certainly enough that had the authorities known about them they would not have given him a visa. But he wasn’t asked about them so he didn’t lie (it’s not standard practice to ask someone about their views), so his visa was valid, and now that he’s here his speech is protected.

Hasan Piker same. He is just saying the quiet part out loud.

What in the f99k is this person studying that requires him to be in America for pretty much his entire adult life?? Do the course, then f99k off home. You want to study for another year…then make a new visa application.

But to allow these people to effectively become resident for DECADES is crazy!

His vile posts date back to 2024. Why is he “facing” deportation and not already deported?

We should do this, we should do that…….

Only one thing can possibly fix this mess at this point. And voting ain’t it.
