Michigan Dem Senate Primary Results – Update: El-Sayed Has Slight Lead
Mainstream liberal Democrat Haley Stevens is facing off against Abdul El-Sayed, the far-left Islamist who embodies the Red-Green Alliance.
UPDATE Wednesday 7:00 AM:
As of this morning, El-Sayed has slightly over a one point lead, but there are absentee and mail ballots still to be counted from places where Steven’s did very well. So most of the networks have not yet called it. The polling, which had him consistently had by low double digits, obviously turned out to be complete garbage.

Mainstream liberal Democrat Haley Stevens is facing off against Abdul El-Sayed, the far-left Islamist. Much like Zohran Mamdani who won the Mayoral election in New York City, El-Sayed is the living embodiment of the Red-Green Alliance – very smooth talker who hates America and Israel and has build his campaign around support from people like Hasan Piker. El-Sayed has been leading in the polls by double digits.
The winner will face off against Republican Mike Rogers. General election polling has Stevens running close to even with Rogers, El-Sayed significantly behind. But that’s a long way off.
Tonight Jihad is on the ballot, and with the energy behind the DSA and Islamists, Jihad might win.
Polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern in most of Michigan.

What El-Sayed claims to support as a politician and what he really supports as a Muslim are as far apart as east is from the west and never the twain shall meet.

I almost hope democrats employ some of their, shall we say, special counting methods to plush that charismatically challenged liberal political slug Stevens over the line.

Right. What’s to be learned is if there actually is anything “too far left” for Democrat voters to vote for.
It’s Muslim vs. pro-Hamas. The only difference it their personal religious beliefs. Politically, they’re effectively indistinguishable as both likely desire the overthrow of the US Constitution. (I don’t care about the government. They’re welcome to overthrow it, for all I care.)

Democrats better get their act together. The DSA is filled with antisemite, anti-American candidates. They are more suited for reality TV than to lead or make policy. Their aspirations, played out in history, are not “for” people but at peoples’ expense. They offer totalitarianism. They have said so. Just ask Piker.

So El-Sayed seems to be getting support from just under half of the most motivated d/prog primary voters with slightly more than half opposing him.
It’s not surprising that half of d/prog voters in pretty evenly divided Michigan support a radical. We’ve known for a.while that the far leftist/DSA commie political policies routinely get about 25% support in polling data. The vote totals here reflect just that. IMO what’s gonna be more concerning is when the other half of the d/prog electorate chooses to support the radical leftists in Nov general elections.

I just don’t see “Silent AOC”. Not in any way, shape or fashion. However, she obviously does look better than Cal did – at least to the majority of males and players of the WNBA.
Polling shows a majority of independents would not support a DSA candidate. So as of right now, they have about 75% of democrats and less than 40% of independents. That’s not good for the future of the “big tent” democrats.
He’s leading as of right now. Time to see how many ballots the Democratic machine can manufacture for Haley …

I’d love to see her take the lead.
This is gonna be a lot of fun watching these people burn the state to the ground.
One is terrible. The other is worse. How could they get almost 1.5 million votes between them?
Democracy, or at least near universal suffrage, is terribly flawed.
The only thing we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history.
Say what you will about the old dinosaurs like Pelosi and Schumer, they kept the party focused. There were far-left candidates, jihadis, and the occasional low resolution Marxist, sure, but the machine bosses made sure they weren’t too loud nationwide so they wouldn’t freak out the normies who vote Democrat. Such lunatics were matched with equally crazy districts and states and kept under strict control.
But Pelosi, Schumer, and the rest are dying. Whether they retire or croak in office their day is done, and the crazies are making a play for party control. Right now, in an off-year primary season they’re racking up wins, but that’s light years from winning general elections.
Me, I’m popping popcorn and sitting back to watch the show.

Morning after hangover: the terrorist El Sayed won. Lord, have mercy on us.
Denial runs deep, but maybe this will be the reality check that mobilizes conservatives. The facts are clear, we have mostly ignored or at best feebly resisted an anti-American political movement that has been steadily subverting our democratic process from within for over a generation, spearheaded by corrupted educational systems, cynical demagogues, foreign enemies, billionaire neomarxist hypocrites, and vainglorious media opportunists. They have been allowed to operate within our political system because we mainstreamers have consistently selected go along to get along Party hacks who have refused to do anything effective to stop it before it grew into the dire threat it has assuredly now become. Do we still have enough Americans left who will do whatever it will take to save us? We shall see!
How are we to resist this anti-American movement? Shall we change our party registration to Democrat*? Or just encourage the Democrats to clean their house? No matter how many RINOs we eliminate (like John Cornyn), it still won’t have any impact on the Democrat Party.
* I don’t have that option, we have open primaries in TX and no registration by party.
The absentee ballots will be a good test to see if the Michigan Communist Establishment can use their fraud machine to drag their preferred candidate Stevens across the finish line or not.
And yes: it is safe to assume that voting fraud is now a permanent fixture in a growing number of states.
So it appears El-Sayed will “win”. Did the voting fraud machine fail to manufacture enough ballots for Stevens? Or were both sides cheating? After 2020 I don’t take any election results in Communist-run states at face value.
The Islamist has only a slim lead? Boy is he in trouble in MI. With majorities in several cities apparently the mosques aren’t turning out the troops as they usually do.
What is happening now has been in the planning stages for a long time. Islam intends to take over America, just like they have done in countries all over the world. Countries that were formerly Christian are now all Muslim. They are doing it right now, right here, with all these Islamic people being elected, and they are building huge Mosques all over the Country. Just TRY building a Church in a Muslim Country, you CAN’T. I am really worried for my children and Grandchildren’s future !
