Illegal Alien Gets Less Than 5 Years in Prison for Crash That Killed Three People
Absolutely disgusting.
Jashanpreet Singh, an illegal alien from India, pleaded guilty to three felony counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence for an accident that killed three people and injured four.
Singh received a sentence of four years and eight months in prison.

In the collision in October of last year, Jashanpreet Singh, of Yuba City, Calif., failed to hit his brakes in slowing traffic. Dashcam video showed the big rig he was driving plowing through several passenger cars before crashing into a truck. One of the cars burst into flames. In addition to the fatalities, four people were injured in the crash.

The Oct. 21, 2025, collision took place as traffic was slowing down on the westbound 10 Freeway near the 15 Freeway interchange, according to Officer Joe Garcia, a CHP spokesperson.
The crash involved four semi trucks and four passenger cars. Three people were pronounced dead at the scene, and four were transported to hospitals for treatment, Garcia said.
Singh entered the U.S. illegally in 2018. He told DHS he feared for his life in India and stayed.
However, then-President Donald Trump’s administration did not issue Singh a work visa.
But in 2021, the administration of former President Joe Biden granted Dingh a work permit, allowing him to obtain a license in California.
Singh received a full-term commercial driver’s license in Washington in 2023 despite not being eligible for one.
To make matters worse, in July 2024, California issued Singh a limited-term non-domiciled commercial driver’s license despite his failing the English Language Proficiency assessment, answering two of 12 verbal questions, and accurately identifying only one of four highway signs.

Maybe Lunchpail Joe will tell us how wrong he was for allowing this man to get a work permit that led to the deaths of three and grievously injured many others.
After all, Joe lost a wife and child in an automobile accident involving a truck. He’s always quick to remind us of that tragedy.

One of the repeated excuses is “it would have happened anyway” This sentence will only be handed down to illegals and not citizens. The lack of accountability starts at the top and trickles down (blood).
He feared for his life in India? Well now he can fear for his life in the US too. He can leave after his all too short prison term. There are 193 more countries for him to wear out his welcome.

Sooner or later the weight of the body count being piled up as a result of lax immigration will cause some currently wishy washy members of the public to pay attention, make their disagreement known and maybe even show up to vote.
Who decided this sentence? We need to have a friendly chat with them. Convince them of the error of their ways. See to it that they never issue such a lax sentence ever again. Or any other kind.

Plea deal. Singh originally plead not guilty and was looking at a possible ten year prison sentence if it went to trial. But then changed his plea to guilty last month (June) and received four years and eight months for that guilty plea. Just yet another case of lazy prosecutors not willing to do their job and seek a greater punishment. But at least they can notch another “guilty” on their belts. Yea!
Ten years would have been too short, too.
With some luck he will see some prison justice. If any of those passengers were kids, he is in a world of trouble with the other guests at the Greybar Hotel.
I doubt Singh will be singing in Sing Sing.

I wonder if they’re going to give him a prison haircut, or will he get religious accommodations for his hair. Shaving one’s head is a sign of penance, so I doubt he’ll do that.
Why he doesn’t get minimum 40 years for vehicular manslaughter is beyond me.
It’s not above the law but certainly not what a normal citizen would probably get for jail time.
Yea, well…it was just a bunch of fellow Californians that he killed. I’m sure they’d be fine with his light sentence considering he’s one of those “oppressed” illegals who was granted a CDL by the government they keep granting power.

I’d volunteer to write the script for free. It would include a scene in which the hero kidnaps the California judge who gave Dingh the outrageously light sentence, the Biden administration official who granted him a work permit, the California state official who granted him a California driver’s license, and the Washington and California state officials who illegally granted him commercial driver’s licenses. Then the next scene would be the one in which our hero locks all 5 of these evil miscreants in a Tesla, sets the Tesla on fire, and walks away.
After all, it’s only a movie.

I would think there would be a multi million $ civil action against the state of CA and the DMV employees who processed the license. Rather than simple negligence, it appears the license was intentionally issued.
