Donny Deutsch of MSNOW Sounds Alarm for Democrats Over DSA Takeover
“This is ridiculous. And they’re both running on anti-American, socialistic, let’s blow up — let’s abolish ICE, let’s abolish prisons, let’s abolish everything, let’s abolish the police. It’s insane.”
MSNOW contributor Donny Deutsch is not happy about the currently unfolding takeover of the Democratic Party by the Democratic Socialists of America.
During a recent exchange with Stephanie Ruhle, Deutsch lamented the fact that the DSA’s focus on Israel, combined with their antisemitic views, is going to take focus off of the important issues, just as the 2026 midterms are approaching.
He also predicts that Republicans are going to use this to paint the entire Democratic Party as wildly out of step with the public.

Thursday on MS NOW’s “Money, Power, Politics,” panelist Donny Deutsch said, “Democrats have gone off the rails” with anti-American socialism.
Host Stephanie Ruhle said, “Even though voters are unhappy with Trump, they’re still leaning Republican. Do you think that if the economy doesn’t improve by November, it can change? Do Democrats need to figure out their messaging on the economy? Because for whatever reason, Republicans still seem to have this stronghold that ‘We’re good for business.’”
Deutsch said, “Well, Democrats have gone off the rails. They’re not even focused — what matters to people is affordability, and Democrats right now are focused on two things: They’re focused on Anti-Semitism and Socialism.”
Ruhle said, “Not all Democrats.”
Deutsch said, “Not all, but that’s where the energy in the party is. When you look at the two candidates that got elected in the last week, one of them talks about that firebombing in Colorado was not Anti-Semitic. I mean, would not acknowledge that when there was a firebombing of people holding a vigil for hostages by Hamas. Another candidate in New York, who has been well-documented, was at an October 8 rally, a pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian rally.”
He added, “This is ridiculous. And they’re both running on anti-American, socialistic, let’s blow up — let’s abolish ICE, let’s abolish prisons, let’s abolish everything, let’s abolish the police. It’s insane.

I don’t often find myself in agreement with Deutsch, but I think he gets pretty much all of this right.
Democrats are celebrating DSA wins as huge victories, but so far they’re just taking blue seats and making them even bluer. They’re also failing to factor in how this looks to the rest of the country.

After all the rewriting of history, perversion, child mutilations/celebration of mental diseases, corruption, cheating, hoaxes, lawfare, new acceptance of Nazis, global warming scams, fauxdemics, trans ideology, racism, maleducation, antisemitism and ignorance, NOW they are worried about being commies??

I am pleased to see someone on today’s left seeing what’s been wrong with that side of the aisle. I’m from the days when both right and left were patriotic (which wasn’t a ‘dirty’ word then), loved their country, could actually talk to one another, compromise and solve problems. (Remember Reagan and Tip O’Neill—great pair.) Back then, they also actually knew their roles, jobs, and what the Constitution meant.
Donny has been apart of the aiding and abetting of the ‘take over’ of the Dem party only it wasn’t a take over. It has been Democrats progression in the only direction open to them. If one tries to stop and come back to normal America, well, his house might get accidently burned down.
I’m old enough to remember when REAL Democrats/liberals were patriotic and loved America.
The Demsocialists/leftists have embraced racist ideologies, full blown communism, mental illness etc.
They aren’t normal.
One of these days I’m going to learn not to overestimate the Democrats. I figured that the socialist takeover of the party wouldn’t happen until the old dinosaurs like Pelosi and Schumer died off. The rise of the Young Dummy faction of Democrats was inevitable, but the party bosses generally kept the mob in check until recently.
Say what you will about the dinosaurs, but they maintained party discipline. The kooks were allowed to make a bit of noise but they were otherwise expected to follow orders and not freak out Ma and Pa Kettle of Rat’s Ass Missouri by going on about socialism too much. Push too far to the crazy left and you lose any real chance outside of the tiny bubbles of progressivism.
But these new Democrats are yelling “Leeroy Jenkins!” and charging straight in. We’ll see how well that works.
