‘Astroturfed’: Jill Biden’s Memoir Falls From NY Times Bestseller List
Jill Biden’s book mysteriously has dropped from being a New York Times “bestseller” after just a few weeks.
Former First Lady Jill Biden’s memoir has suddenly dropped off the New York Times bestseller list, adding further evidence that she “astroturfed” her book sales.
Rarely does a book make the bestseller list only to drop off within weeks – if a new publication is truly popular among the people, then it would hold that for weeks, and sales should continue to remain steady.
But this is what happened with Biden’s “View From the East Wing” book.
The book had a “dagger” mark next to it on the list, which means the newspaper suspects bulk orders.
“It debuted at #1 on the NYT due to astroturfed bulk orders (not my opinion it got the infamous † indicating this) and is now *completely* off the list 2 weeks later,” statistical and political analyst Nate Silver wrote on X. “Very rare for a “#1″ to fall that fast. Virtually no one except political reporters are actually reading it.”

Others have noticed the peculiarity.
“Republicans were unlikely to buy it, and neither were Democrats,” Jim Geraghty wrote at National Review. He mocked Biden, saying “shockingly, very few people want to buy [her] book.”
An industry insider defended the practice, saying it is common for politicians to sell books in bulk while on tour.
“She definitely had some bulk orders, but I think they were tied to the events that she had,” Lauren Cobello told the New York Post.
Still, the New York Times appears to have a double standard for when it is acceptable to use bulk orders to juice the numbers.
In April, the newspaper put Governor Gavin Newsom’s memoir on its best-seller list even though he used a gimmick to boost sales, as the Washington Free Beacon reported.
The Free Beacon reported:
From early November to late January, Newsom sent fundraising emails and social media posts offering to send a copy of the book to supporters who contributed “ANY AMOUNT,” even “a few bucks,” to his PAC. Newsom went on to disclose in a recent campaign finance report two January payments to Porchlight Book Company—a Milwaukee-based business that specializes “in moving books in bulk”—totaling more than $1.5 million for “books at cost.”
But in 2015, the newspaper initially excluded Ted Cruz’s book for using a similar strategy, the Free Beacon reported.
The bestseller list also uses questionable data. For example, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s book about the rot in Ivy League colleges was placed third on the list, despite selling twice as many books as the supposed top-selling book, according to the Free Beacon.

I doubt even Biden supporters are interested in what DoCtoR Jill Biden has to say about anything.
And it’s been forever since the NYT Best Seller list has actually meant anything.
As the old saying goes, it’s hard to miss Jill Biden if she won’t go away.
Like everything else Democrat, it’s all fraud and criminality.
When the WEF activates a new pandemic, and the shelves have no toilet paper, we can still count on Jill’s book to be available.
That’s “Doctor Jill” to you.
Dr Jill was nominated by Whoopee Goldberg for the Surgeon General position but was found to be overqualified and many patients would’ve missed out on quality care if she had wasted her time on lower pursuits.
In the meantime, Joe has 1% of the funds needed for his presidential library which will prominently feature Jill as the power behind the throne.
Not enough money to buy the Cliff’s Notes to fill a shelf.
It’s expensive to rebind other people’s books to put Joe’s name on them.
I am anxiously looking forward to the “cardboard boxes of Presidential documents stored next to the Mustang in the garage” display in the Biden Presidential Lieberry.
It will nearly as popular as the “Can You Spot the Racism?” interactive coloring book station.
It’s a Corvette. The ONLY decent thing Biden has. If he was really really sharp (not), it would be a 1967 427 convertible with side-pipes. Green with tan interior. Poor Corvette, having Biden sit …er… you know… on you these days.
So Brandon will just have a smaller mausoleum than O’bammy’s.
Presidential libraries usually take about 5 to 10+ years after a president leaves office to fully complete and open—and some take much longer. Biden’s library will never be finished unless Hunter takes over after his daddy and step mommy are gone.
In the year 2525, if man is still alive
If woman can survive, they may find
In the year 3535
Ain’t gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lie
There will still be no Biden Archive
Of special note is the sudden glut of Marionette String on the global market, and its plunging price, since Joe left office late January of 2025.
In the 70s, unions would buy cases of books to fake the numbers. The left has always been good at that.
The book will end up in Dollar Tree, just like the one I found of Hillary’s (Hard Choices).
I laughed my ass off.
Dollar and a Quarter Tree now
The Dollar Store is The Dollar and a Quarter Tree now?
Thanks Joe!
“The Dollar Store is The Dollar and a Quarter Tree now?”
Money don’t grow on trees. You are looking a the Lending Tree now where you can finance your purchase for just 15% interest.
Soon to be Tree Fiddy Tree.
I saw one of Hillary’s books in a bargain bin at Walmart. Someone had put a “Trump” sticker on it. I took a pic, but can’t find it right now. If I locate it, I’ll put it online and post a link to it.
I suspect the correct term is “Estroturfed.”
I started a list on Amazon of books to avoid just so I could put hers on it.
How did it even make it on to the “list”? How many copies did the Biden Crime Family buy and stash in the garage next to the Corvette?
