“We Got Him”: Missing F-15 Crew Member Rescued in Iran

President Trump: The U.S. “Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History.”

The U.S. has safely rescued the airman missing from the F-15 downed in Iran, officials say early Sunday morning.

President Donald Trump confirmed that the U.S. forces rescued the crew member missing over southern Iran, adding that he was “now SAFE and SOUND!”

“WE GOT HIM! My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History, for one of our incredible Crew Office Members, who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel, and who I am thrilled to let you know is SAFE and SOUND!” President Trump posted on Truth Social early Sunday morning.

According to The Telegraph (UK), the airman was extracted after a “heavy fight” with the regime forces swarming the area.

CNBC News reports the details:

U.S. forces safely rescued the second F-15E crew member of a two-seat fighter jet that went down over Iran on Friday, two U.S. officials said late Saturday.

Details of the rescue were unavailable, but the sources said the second airman was pulled from Iran safely, with rescue crews also out of harm’s way.

“He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine,” President Donald Trump said on his social media platform Truth Social.

The pilot of the downed F-15 was rescued hours after the crash. The second crew member, identified as a weapons systems officer, who had ejected along with the pilot, was rescued after a two-day daring search-and-rescue mission. Tehran placed a bounty on the downed servicemen, and regime forces and militias were combing the area.

The airman used a Combat Survivor Evader Locator (CSEL), a two-way satellite-based device, to signal his location while he evaded capture for two days. “US navigator hid for 48 hours in hostile territory, sending encrypted signals through a satellite-linked survival device that allowed rescuers to track him without detection, showcasing advanced combat search and rescue technology deep inside Iran,” Israel’s Ynetnews reported.

Israel called of planned strikes and helped U.S. armed forces in the search and rescue effort, Fox News reported:

Israel was involved in the rescue operation of a U.S. airman in Iran, Fox News has learned.

Israeli officials reportedly shared information with the U.S. as the search-and-rescue operation unfolded.

Additionally, the Israeli military helped halt Iranian air strikes in the area while the rescue mission was underway over the past 36 hours.

The daring rescue comes after President Trump, on Saturday, issued Iran’s remaining leaders a 48-hour ultimatum to accept his terms and clear the Strait of Hormuz or “all Hell will reign down on them.”

You can sense the disappointment for Democrats that their allies in Iran have been deprived of a propoganda asset in their joint war against Trump.

The gonads it must take to go into enemy territory, with the enemy surrounding you, wanting you dead, plucking a possibly injured comrade out of that territory, and everyone returning safely.

HEROS ALL!

I predict the Sunday morning talk shows will be all about how much the jets cost and why it took so long to rescue this airman.

Correction:
Not airman, but WSO, Weapons Systems Officer.

The differences between capability and execution between what the Americans and Israel have done to the moolahs vs what Russia did in the Ukraine vs NATO’s inability to defend its own energy security is just astounding.

I mean, Russia almost managed to pull off that critical mission of taking that airfield right at the start of the Ukrainian conflict when the bulk of its special forces were still alive but that was probably the high point of the operation for them.

As for NATO, they have shown themselves to be utterly irrelevant and have probably managed to kill NATO as a functioning body much more clinically than Russia ever could have.

In fact NATO seems only capable of funnelling money to the Ukraine so they keep dying to keep their war against Russia going while falling over themselves to appease China and Iran.

The husband of a cousin was a fighter pilot in Korea when his F-86 got shot down over the north. He almost made it back to the UN lines when the NKs caught him and made him a POW. He was a “guest” of the communists for something like 14 months until he was released. He told me a couple of things but my cousin and their daughter told me more.

He was an interesting man. All I can say about fighter pilots is they’ve got big, brass ones.

It’s why the pilots go through SEER. Survival, Evade, Escape, Recovery. The AF CSAR crews constantly train. Locate and extraction. They do a lot of the training at Elgin near Pensacola. Thick tree areas, swap lands and ocean rescues. They use CH-53’s. Three mini-guns give the rescuers a lot of firepower.

It was unconfirmed when I went to bed last night. I’m very happy to see this news! Many prayers were answered!

The US military is truly amazing.

Fantastic news.

Patriotic Americans rejoice; the vile, stupid and evil Dhimmi-crat subversives, agitators and fifth columnists sulk.

Ponder the exceptional military excellence, skills and prowess that have been on repeated display during Epic Fury, as well as during these rescue operations. Our military servicemembers always exhibit courage and competence, but, bold leadership and gumption come from the top, on down the line, and they would be totally absent, with a Dhimmi-crat as president. No doubt our troops appreciate having a Commander-in-Chief whom they know has their backs, unequivocally and resolutely.

The Dhimmi-crat pukes wanted another Battle of Mogadishu. Traitorous snakes.

They would have held him and tortured him for as long as they could with great fanfare.
    Many dems rejoicing.

I will second your ‘Praise the Lord’ and add “thank you” for this is a beautiful Easter miracle. Even after serving for over 20 years of military service, I am awed by the professionalism and skill of our warriors.

I just heard that the WSO is a colonel who hiked up a 7000-ft mountain to get a clear line of sight for his RF transmission. Pretty good for an O-6. That’s why Hegseth pushes physical fitness.

This is even better than those chocolate bunnies that I used to get in my Easter basket as a kid.

Well done!

Psychology is fascinating. This is a single member of a military force that numbers roughly 1.3 million members. The F-15 was 1 of 108; less than 1% of that model alone. In actual terms irrelevant. In WWII 52,000 bomber crew members were lost.

However, his having been shot down and subsequently rescued both have outsized significance for both sides in this war. Shot down: Iranian morale bolstered, and American diminished. Rescued? American morale and resolve go way up. Iranian morale will surely drop.

Had the pilot been captured? The entire Democratic party would have been willing to surrender immediately.

What happened, here, in this rescue operation, is what utterly feckless and useless narcissist-incompetent-dunce, Obama, and crone Clinton, should have done, in response to the Benghazi attack.

Remember that disgraceful and shameful fiasco? This incident, alone, should have cost that piece of excrement, Obama, the 2012 presidential election.

But…”what difference does it make now”. Yes, HRC was somewhat misquoted in actually what she said, but what she was still doing was deflecting. HRC and BHO wanted the CIA to let the attack eliminate the real reason and evidence of the diplomatic meeting. Arkancide had global reach.

Time and opportunity not wasted. When the CIA diverted the thugs away from the WSO, they then bombed them at the fake location.
