Greg Gutfeld Lays Blame for WHCD Shooter at the Feet of Democrats and Media
“Don’t buy into that narrative because it lets these pompous asses off.”
A clip of Greg Gutfeld of FOX News on The Five this week is going viral on Twitter/X and for good reasons.
In the video you can watch below, Gutfeld blames the actions of the WHCD shooter on the rhetoric we hear day after day from the most Trump-deranged people in politics and media.
Jesse Watters had just finished saying that the shooter doesn’t seem like someone who hears voices, and Greg Picks it up from there, saying he does hear voices, “They were Tim Walz’s, they were Ted Lieu’s, they were Brandon Johnson’s, they were CNN’s, they were The View, they were MSNOW.”
PJ Media has more details:
Gutfeld argued the attempted attack reveals something deeper about how people get radicalized. “Okay, I think this is a helpful assassination attempt because it is the first one to show that you can be radicalized by liberal smugness,” he said.
He urged viewers to actually read what the suspect wrote: “If you read his posts, and if you read his manifesto, it sounds like every smarmy, sanctimonious, self-satisfied pronouncement from an a**hole like Brandon Johnson, like Walz, like Lieu, the people who think they know better than you.”
He also pushed hard against the instinct to dismiss the suspect as unstable.
“This guy was not a crank,” Gutfeld said. “He was not deranged. Don’t buy into that narrative because it lets these pompous asses off.” As Gutfeld noted, the suspect followed a worldview to its logical endpoint. “He didn’t do this because, as Jesse said, he didn’t have voices in his head. He was just following orders. He was operating on a filter that said Trump was Hitler, and therefore it would be immoral if you didn’t take Hitler out.”
That logic, Gutfeld argued, made the suspect internally consistent. “So his filter is actually making him logical. He’s the sanest one in the group because he took them at their word. When MSNOW says Trump is Hitler, he’s the sensible one. He went out and went after Hitler.” And once someone buys into that worldview, Gutfeld added, persuasion becomes nearly impossible. “No, because you know this guy. You’ve run into this guy. They think they’re right.”
Watch the whole thing below. This is great:
Greg Gutfeld just delivered the single most succinct and cutting indictment of the leftwing media's complicity in Saturday's WHCD attack:
"This guy did hear voices. They were Ted Lieu's, they were Brandon Johnson's, they were CNN's, they were The View, they were MS NOW."

This actually dovetails perfectly with a theory of my own. I think the reason so many people on the left reflexively rushed to claim that this shooting was staged is because it was a defense mechanism.
If they didn’t claim it was staged, they would have to face themselves and admit that they have all helped to drive us to this moment, and they simply can’t do that. They’re not capable of seeing themselves as the bad guys in any situation that involves Trump.

Use RICO to permanently abolish the democrat crime cabal
Gutfeld is a surprisingly deep thinker for a TV personality.
He’s also funny. Of his experience at the state dinner with the king and queen, he said he and Camilla were horsing around. That’s funny right there.
I dedicate 40 minutes to that show at the end of every weekday. It is the best political comedy on the air, and often from people you wouldn’t expect who are his guests.
Jamie Lissow on politics in his house: I lean right and my wife left.
Democrats are a creature of the left and as such over time, violence is in their DNA. They can’t help it. Not during the French Revolution, the 1848 French mini revolt, nor Moscow 1917 or the Maoist revolution.
It’s not just democrats and media. It’s also:
– so called influencers on social media
– college professors and k-12 teachers
– union bosses
– entertainer and sports figures
They all have platforms with millions of listeners who hang on every word
seldom if ever questioning anything they say.
Der duh
NPR claims the shooter has ‘no radical footprint’.
Which is actually true. He’s not radical. He is completely boilerplate leftist. Nothing he says is unusual.
And by the way, remember Trump had to defund NPR over the objections of the RINOs.
Gutfeld did not lay the blame at the feet of Democrats and media. It was already there. All Gutfeld did is say, “Hey, look—over there at the Democrat’s feet.” And he described what’s lying there.
Gutfeld called a spade a spade.
Gutfeld pointed out the obvious.
Gutfeld insisted that if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck.
Exactly
Yeah. The problem is the violent rhetoric, the calls for death/destruction of DJT, GoP officials/leaders and the 75 million ish average voters who support them often in excruciatingly specific, detailed public pronouncements have become mainstream. This is who the d/prog are as political party. So far as I am aware the only National d/prog leaders who’ve specifically and unambiguously demanded a halt to this are Sen Fetterman and Rep Marie Gluesenkamp Perez. This explains why the legacy, corporate media can’t see the ‘radicalization’ when reviewing the shooters social media history/manifesto ….they shrug it off and refer to them as ‘pretty moderate leftist views’. They do so b/c that’s the truth, the leftists that have come to dominate the d/prog coalition see nothing wrong with not just fantasizing about assassination and violence but cheer their use as necessary components of political policy.
Exactly if you keep telling people over and over that Trump is a king and a dictator, and a pedophile why be surprsied when people try to kill him? The same thing is happening to Jews. If you keep telling people we are the cause of all bad things on planet Earth why be shocked when people try to murder us? Guess what hate does have a home here and yes violence is condoned, celebrated and rewarded, as long as it’s against the “right” people (or should I say non-people in the bigoted mind of the righeteous murderer). You can’t even have a rationale conversation with people these days. Basic factual infrimation doesn’t penetrate the cloud of righteous, self assured, hatred.
Just look at the extremes that the Nazis went to to villify Jews in the 1930’s, literally portraying them as having devil’s horns. If you want to piss off a liberal, after they have blurted out a statement, ask them for tangible evidence. At best, they might be able to come up with a “feeling” to support their position, like when Ted Koppel challenged Carmen Ambar about racism from the Gibsons, and the best she had was “you get this feeling when you walk in the store.”
