DOJ to Review Mamdani’s ‘Racial Equity Plan’ for New York City

DOJ to Review Mamdani’s ‘Racial Equity Plan’ for New York City

Shorter Mamdani administration: White people bad.

Assistant U.S. Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who heads the Civil Rights Division, is not happy with New York City Zohran Mamdani’s “Racial Equity Plan.”

Mamdani tied his Racial Equity Plan to living affordability, claiming racial inequity caused the city’s affordability crisis.

“The True Cost of Living Measure offers an honest account of what it actually costs to live in this city — and who is being left behind. It shows that this is not a crisis affecting a small minority of New Yorkers. It is a crisis touching the vast majority of our city, in every borough and every neighborhood,” claimed Mamdani. “But we know this crisis is not felt equally. Black and Latino New Yorkers — who have been pushed out of this city for decades — are bearing the brunt. The Preliminary Racial Equity Plan is where we begin to reverse that pattern. These reports make one thing clear: we cannot tackle systemic racial inequity without confronting the affordability crisis head-on, and we cannot solve the cost-of-living crisis without dismantling systemic racial inequity.”

I attempted to read all 375 pages, but it’s filled with a bunch of mumbo jumbo.

Shorter Mamdani administration: White people bad.

To justify the plan, I kid you not, Mamdani claimed NYC has a history of “profound injustice” from the beginning.

Yes, the plan wasted pages detailing these “injustices” since 1624.

The key goals of Mamdani’s plan:

  • Economic Opportunity: Expand access to capital for underserved businesses, connect New Yorkers in high-unemployment communities to quality jobs, and help young people build generational wealth.
  • Housing: Apply a racial equity framework to all new housing proposals to ensure fair geographic investment.
  • Health: Ensure that every New Yorker has access to a primary care physician by 2034 and reduce truck-related pollutants in communities of color that are disproportionately affected by warehousing activity.

For example, Mamdani will force the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation (BNYDC) to develop “new training and professional development opportunities,” with a focus on those “underrepresented.”

By the end of the year, BNYDC must achieve that goal, but “in a matter that is reflective of the diversity of NYC.”

You know what’s missing from all of these sections?

Legit qualifications for jobs.

The administration does not care if the white person can perform the job better than an “underrepresented” person.

No wonder Dhillon and the Civil Rights department want to review Mamdani’s plan.

Mamdani’s plan contradicts President Donald Trump’s executive order Ending Radical And Wasteful Government DEI Programs And Preferencing, which he signed the day of his inauguration.

” but it’s filled with a bunch of mumbo jumbo.” ie Democrat speak. At least he didn’t call it a 5 year plan.

They are going to review his racist plan to see if his racist plan is racist.

If all these assertions about economic opportunity, housing, and health care were actually true, it would seem to be a simple thing to define and apply policies in a racial neutral manner. The end result would affect all populations anyway. Interesting how modern democrats always opt for the race grifting. Almost like they’re race grifters. But that’s crazy talk .

White man, don’t let the sun set on you in this town.

So… In order to end racism , we need more racism. Got it.

Good luck with that, simpleton.

This greasy, silver spoon-fed, lazy, entitled, private sector-avoiding, bigoted neo-communist/Islamofascist/Muslim supremacist already displayed his brazen lawlessness and racism, during his campaign, when he proposed taxing New Yorkers based upon their race/skin pigmentation, and the zip codes in which they reside.

Andrew Cuomo could have and should have taken him to the woodshed over that idiotic statement, during their debates, but foolishly didn’t. This was a missed opportunity to expose this vile Islamofascist as the elitist, racist, lawless and evil hustler that he is.

yeah but you know that even if cuomo did address that

the table was already set for muss

9 11 victory secured their “military power” and thats enough to send others scurrying

Possibly. But, Cuomo still could have eviscerated him.

Same thing with the Islamofascist’s debate criticism of Cuomo, for never having visited a mosque.

Cuomo could have and should have reminded the Islamofascist that we don’t have a religious test for political office, in the U.S., then asked him how many Christian churches, Jewish Synagogues, and Hindu and Sikh temples he’s visited.

True he wasn’t quick on his feet

then asked him how many Christian churches, Jewish Synagogues, and Hindu and Sikh temples he’s visited.

That would have been a stupid question to ask, because the answer would have been “a lot”. Mamdani did the usual political tour of houses of worship, including many different lefty churches, and several lefty synagogues, temples, gurdwaras, and who knows what else. He played up the fact that his mother’s family is Hindu.

Cuomo did too, but his first mosque visit was in September.

racial inequities DID cause the problems

as the blk families that partnered with their wht lefty “helpers” assured their own demise with acceptance and promotion of the welfare state and abortions added in with the fatherless homes ( welfare system) leading to lack of educational skills as moms have/had numerous children by multiple men creating the Brandon Johnson Chiraq utopia they sought

“This was a missed opertunity to expose this vile Islamofascist as the elitist, racist, lawless and evil hustler that he is.”

If more New Yorkers read Legal Insurrection, they would have known.

While wifey supports “From the river to the sea”…

We used to fight Communists, now we elect them as a Mayor of a large US City.

First, Mamdani drove all the rich people out of New York. Next, he drove all the white people out.

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his need” soon drives out all those of ability and attracts all those of need. No wonder his plan doesn’t address people’s ability to do their jobs; those with ability will have left.

His plan is DEI all over again. Underrepresented to them means systematic racism and not ignorance or lack of ability or stupidity. He wants equity which is Commie speak. Everyone with nothing except for the elite few like him and his dumb wife, It’s impossible,

No one should be allowed to leave NYC that voted for him especially those who should have known better.

wall up the city now, you haven’t seen anything yet,

destroycommunism | April 7, 2026 at 1:24 pm

55 percent of women in nyc voted for mamdummi

33 per of both jews and catholics voted for him

84 percent of young females voted for mamdummi

etc etc

its a sad telling of what america continues to have in store and not just limited to big blue cities

gop will capitulate even more to the left if they want to be elected

it will be soooooo bad

the dems wont even have to cheat anymore to win

“Shorter Mamdani administration: White people bad…
Yes, the plan wasted pages detailing these “injustices” since 1624.”

Pretty sure I’ve already seen this movie.

The unstated major premise, aka the “big lie.” Jews, Irish, and Italians (among other white people) have suffered from oppression and exclusion, but they battled out of it. Although oppression and exclusion of some whit people based on their race is rare today, there is still a permanent white underclass. Mamdani’s proposal seems to not address their plight. The lie isn’t that some minorities suffer from oppression and exclusion, it’s the assertion (by omission) that whites don’t suffer too. But no, a socialist can’t possibly address the needs of white people.

Thee Dems are just as racist no as when they fought to keep blacks in chains.

I supposed he’s going to include a street gang going after the “Four Olds”, just like Mao’s Cultural Revolution. NYC can look forward to backyard blast furnaces, all the treasures in the Met being destroyed in favor of “Social Realist” art (BLECH!), and white people of all sorts being paraded in front of jeering crowds while those who are to be “reformed” wear banners and chanted slogans from the Maomdani Qurzan Little Red Book?

Anyway, it’s good to know that Mamdani can spend uber effort on a “Racial Equity Plan” because the city coffers are replete, and beatings and murders are nothing but a happy memory.

What is an “underserved business”?

As in the movie “Escape From New York”. When Mamdummy sinks NYC fully, we’ll have to pull the bridges, fill tunnels with cement and ring the place with guard towers. Maybe we are already to late! Hope Jochul is in NYC when it’s closed off! Bragg and Tissue too!
