Tongva Tribe Reminds Billie Eilish That Her Mansion Sits on Its Land

“We appreciate the opportunity to provide clarity regarding the recent comments made by Billie Eilish. As the First People of the greater Los Angeles basin, we do understand that her home is situated in our ancestral land.”

At the Grammys, musician Billie Eilish said, “Nobody is illegal on stolen land.”

People quickly reminded Eilish that her multimillion-dollar mansion sits on land that once belonged to the Tongva tribe.

The Tongva tribe also responded to Eilish when contacted by The Daily Mail:

‘We appreciate the opportunity to provide clarity regarding the recent comments made by Billie Eilish.

‘As the First People of the greater Los Angeles basin, we do understand that her home is situated in our ancestral land,’ they stated, adding that the A-lister has not reached out to the tribe herself.

‘Eilish has not contacted our tribe directly regarding her property, we do value the instance when Public Figures provide visibility to the true history of this country,’ the spokesperson continued.

Additionally, the tribe said they have contacted Eilish’s team ‘to express our appreciation for her comments.’

‘It is our hope that in future discussions, the tribe can explicitly be referenced to ensure the public understands that the greater Los Angeles basin remains Gabrieleno Tongva territory,’ they added.

Apparently, the Grammys acknowledged the territory during the week:

The tribe went on to share that they ‘partnered closely with the Recording Academy to author the official Land Acknowledgment statement shared during Grammy week and at the Premiere Ceremony.’

The spokesperson concluded: ‘The Recording Academy has been an incredible partner to our tribe, and we look forward to continuing the relationship to ensure the voices of the First People of this land are heard and honored. Ekwa Shem- We are here!’

Let’s also not forget that Eilish has private security and a huge wall around the house.

Eilish has a restraining order against a man who tried to gain access to the house.

“Nobody is illegal on stolen land.”
Make up the couch, Billie — I’ll be there in plenty of time for dinner.

One danger of signaling virtue is someone might call your bluff and ask you to practice what you preach. When these leftist wokiestas give up their own homes, stop flying, stop moving with armed or any security and definitely stop using any product made with petrochemicals or has components made with products that came out of mines with poor to no environmental regs and paying starvation wages then we might take them more seriously. As it stands all their virtue signaling does is buy a form of lefty indulgence to continue their lifestyle unrepentant.

And we know it can be done, because the Amish put their silage where their mouths are.

Tim Robbins pulled this schtick about “stolen land” on NPR in the 90s. He fully admits it, yet says in the next same breath that he’s not giving it back. Wait, what? Then why even bring it up in the first place, you Welsh word for carrot?

You’ve all got it wrong. Eilish was pointing out that after the land has been stollen, you can buy it from the thief and the original owner can’t get it back. So, her mansion is legitimately hers.

This isn’t the dunk that the headline makes it out to be.

It sounds like this tribe is practically groveling to her in the process while they ng to pretend that they own land they currently do not.

Poor Billie, I guess you never took AP American or World History in high school. Because your ignorance is showing. It wasn’t Americans who stole the land, and the Anglo-Saxons either. You might want to blame the Spanish and their Conquistadors for the robbery. File your reparations’ claims in Madrid. Oh, one more thing, the The Mexican–American War from April 25, 1846 – February 2, 1848) was an invasion of Mexico by the United States. It followed the 1845 American annexation of Texas, which Mexico still considered its territory because it refused to recognize the Treaties of Velasco, signed by President Antonio López de Santa Anna after he was captured by the Texan Army during the 1836 Texas Revolution. Guess what? The Mexicans lost, and we Americans won the damn war. Deal with it.

Tyrus opined that this whole stolen land reverence was lit on by her publicist or personal woke monitor and she just said what she was told to say. She’s too wealthy and woke to check things out on her own. GIGO.

History is not single story; it’s a series of layers. Some of the earliest cultures in America were the Clovis and Folsom cultures known to us only through stone tools. We don’t know what they called themselves or what language they spoke. By the time a modern tribe says, “This is our ancestral land,” there were four or five other cultures buried beneath them in the dirt.

The idea of the “peaceful” Indigenous people living in total harmony with their neighbors is a myth. Like people everywhere else in the world, native americans conquered other people and took their land. Empires like the Aztecs and Incas had vast empires that came from conquering and subjugating others.

If the Europeans did to the natives what the natives did to other natives there wouldn’t be any left

I just learned this morning that the Sioux massacred 400 to 800 settlers with no provocation in 1862. Lincoln sent a general to deal with the problem. The Chippewa came to see the general and asked to be allowed to join the fight against the Sioux, but the general declined the offer. When the battle ended, over 300 Sioux were tried and sentenced to death. Lincoln commuted the sentences of over 260. 38 were hung simultaneously from gallows built for the purpose. As a child, I’d been taught that the Sioux were a particularly peaceful tribe.

It wasn’t with no provocation. They had a legitimate grievance, which is why Lincoln commuted the sentences of anyone who had any kind of a shadow of an excuse. The ones who were hanged were the worst of the worst, who behaved just like Hamas did two years ago.

Money doesn’t buy intelligence by any means. This entitled mental dwarf should crawl back, into the hole, she came from and keep her mouth shut

She Claims “No One is Illegal on Stolen Land”

“No Government is legitimate on Stolen Land”

”No Land Deed is legitimate from an illegitimate government on Stolen Land”

“No Money is legitimate from an illegitimate government on Stolen Land”

Billie Eilish is homeless and penny less on “Stolen Land“

Well=deserved humiliation but Eilish is too arrogant and stupid to get it.

I’d like to believe that the Tongva are doing this tongue-in-cheek to embarrass the leftists.

The logic of the claim by Billie Eilish applies equally to the argument that the land which “Palestinians” claim belongs to them is equally stupid.

The link below demolishes the claims of the “pro-Palestinians” that “Palestine” was “stolen” by the Jews, and lists at least 19 entities that came before the Israel, with one of the earliest claims being from 18 “players,” one of the earliest being the “Hasmonean Jewish Kingdom.”

It’s on X, and I’ve used TinyURL to reduce the URL.
